with my 1st pregnancy I had GD and was able to control it with the nutrition plan. I hated having GD and was devasted when I found out. I'm a very healthy person- eat organic, grass fed, no process foods, etc so it's purely genetic- my mom had it with two of her four pregnancies. I'm already mentally counting carbs bc I really don't want to get it again which I know I probably will. I'm NOT dieting just avoiding overloading on carbs which I definitely did the first tri last time. Anyone else in a similar boat and want to start a little support checkin?
Re: Previous G.Diabetes-starting to hate carbs again
I started being serious about doing low carb (less than 45 carbs per meal, 15-30 carb snacks a couple times a day, etc) in Sept. I have been really good about it 98% of the time, so I am just going to keep it up. can't hurt, right?

I do have bread (15 carbs a
slice kind) I have eggs with toast for breakfast or a sandwich for lunch fairly often. it is my only carb at that meal.
different types of carbs (fruit, bread, potato, etc) do have a different effect on blood sugar, person to person. so you do kind of have to figure out what works for you.
