mine is kind of a weird long story.. This is not my original bump name.. but in my original month there was a girl who was sort of a psycho and was telling another girl she was a perra sucia (dirty bitch) and I made the AI fucking around.. then when I deleted all my bump stuff in the exodus I had forgotten this account and was like 'eh ill just run with it"

I don't really remember. I have ideas but I am not really sure. I know I started with another one and had to change when I forgot the information for it. (email address etc) I stopped posting after the exodus but I never got around to deleting. I haven't been posting anywhere for a while.

I was shy when I was young and I used to blush quite frequently. (still do in some situations) Could be that, also might have been the first thing that came to mind.

Long story short (and vague to avoid being banned) Bump mods (admin ones, not the actual users who volunteered for the job) were not who they said they were. Long-time regs were banned (immediately, when you're supposed to have 3 warnings before a ban) and power was stripped from the board mods. Most users went to another forum altogether, which is why some boards that used to be busy (Parenting/Stay at Home Moms/TTGP) are now quiet.

Now it seems if you disagree with someone, they'll report you for 'creating an unwelcoming tone', when in reality, they just can't handle when conversations don't go their way.

We're adults, let's have adult conversation. We all won't agree over everything or like each other but we should still be able to have discussions without people getting report-happy.

@16isourluckynumber @scifichick09 I'm not 100% percent sure but the last time I was part of TB in 2014-15 it was pretty ugly. Very cutthroat and nasty comments everywhere. Very unsupportive to the point where I stopped looking at threads. It seemed like there was a gang of women that just enjoyed shitting on other moms. It seems a lot better now

Yea I mean I was just part of my April 2015 bg and a pregnancy one- pretty much the same negativity. Granted sometimes people do ask some crazy questions but not worthy of the comments they got so I think a lot of people got turned off by it and left.

Mine is after a great recurring character on Doctor Who (and a nod to the awesome, unknown-in-America actress who plays her).

Every significant house in my family has ended in -16. I grew up at 2016. My grandparents lived at 8916 for 40 years. My aunt lives at 1516. My new, dream home (it's not huge, just perfect for us) is 2416. Hence, 16 is our lucky number, and hopefully for a happy and healthy final pregnancy.

I didn't realize though that it (the screen name) is so long that it cuts into the text boxes. That annoys me. TW -- And perhaps it wasn't so lucky to have a pregnancy loss in March/April. But hopefully it will all turn out well.

I have been a member for long time and was on during that time. I didn't find it to be all negative. Many people, including myself, found it incredibly supportive. It was also much busier.

Sometimes people might have gone too far and depending on the board you would want to lurk before jumping in but I didn't find it an awful place.

I turtles and I had a car named the turtlemobile. I'm still using the same account as I did Pre-Exodus. I was pretty much off here though when the shiz hit the fan. By then most of my bumpie group was on FB so we as a community were not that affected by it.
