Still feeling pretty good most of the time! Occasional heartburn and oh so hungry all the time!

GTKY: What summer activity are you most looking forward to once your LO is here?
Drinking an ice cold beer on our patio and creating some fun cocktails.
Rants/Raves/Symptoms? Mainly general discomfort and lack of energy. Reflux/heartburn on the daily but nothing a couple Tums can't fix. My dr. was concerned with the amount of weight I put on between my last two appointments (5# in 2 wks!! >:( ), so they had my blood and urine tested for toxemia. Tests came back normal, and after laying off the salt/pumping fluids/keeping my feet elevated/and finally having a BM, the scale is showing that my weight is back down 5 pounds, and my swelling is gone for the most part.
Anything baby-related this week? The decals I ordered for the nursery were delivered yesterday, so I'm hoping DH will help me put them up tonight! I printed off some of the pictures I want to hang in the nursery also. And, my mom is hemming the curtains I bought so that hopefully we can get those hung this weekend!
GTKY: What summer activity are you most looking forward to once your LO is here? DRINKING. An ice-cold glass of sangria, wine, or pretty much any other alcoholic drink sounds amazing. I didn't crave alcohol at all when I was pregnant with DS, but for some reason, I've really been wanting it this time around. DS was born in early April, so I think it's mainly the result of sitting out on decks/patios watching everyone else with drinks in their hands. I honestly don't even drink that much when I'm not pregnant, but I'm very much looking forward to that first glass of whatever.
Rants/Raves/Symptoms? I think baby has dropped. My rib pain is gone and my bump feels more sloped. I haven't really been having more urinary frequency though. My biggest rant is the pain in my lower back/hip/butt on the right side. I don't think it's sciatica because it doesn't radiate down my leg but it hurts like crazy and makes me walk with a limp. The weather is making my feet swell too
Anything baby-related this week? Today starts the weekly appointments. I will probably have to have my GBS swab today. It's also our last childbirth class tonight. Thursday we are going to a "Meet the doctors" thing where we meet all the possible doctors in the practice who may deliver our baby. And best of all....tomorrow I'm getting a prenatal massage (hopefully my doctor OK's this and I don't have to cancel). It's going to be a busy week. Yesterday I made a dozen freezer meals which was kind of a mistake because we don't have a chest freezer and I went a little overboard. Now we have to eat a bunch of them this week because I made too much and there's not enough room. But I feel good that the freezer is stocked and basically I don't need to go grocery shopping for a long time!
GTKY: What summer activity are you most looking forward to once your LO is here? Lots of things...going for walks when the weather is nice, summer birthday parties (I was born in October and have always wanted a summer bday), going to the pool or the beach (even if I can only dip my feet in this summer).
How far along/size of baby? 36 weeks ! Some giant papaya
Rants/Raves/Symptoms? Heartburn has been fixed by the switch to Prevacid from Zantac. Feeling like I've got cramps all of the time. BH are driving me nuts as they've been 2-3 time a hour every hour for days regardless of hydration. In general I'm just grumpy and I'm ready to not be working anymore.
Anything baby-related this week? OB appointment on the 9th, fundal height, heart beat check, cervical check. Get the results back from my GBS and some lab work that was done last week. Husband and I are installing the car seat bases/car seat this week. Next week I'm packing my hospital bag.
GTKY: What summer activity are you most looking forward to once your LO is here? Not like I've held myself back from anything this far, but hanging out at my parents pool, cookouts, bonfires, crab feasts, all the fun stuff.
How far along/size of baby? 33w. Celery, a cauliflower bloom, a ferret. None of these make sense.
Rants/Raves/Symptoms? The insomnia is the worst. Now is the time when I should actually be sleeping a lot (resting up before baby comes) but I'm up so many times during the night! Also, pelvic pain is a b!tch.
Anything baby-related this week? A NST today, checkup later this week. Baby was measuring big at the growth scan last week because of the GD, so I'm anxious to see if we're gonna start coming up with a plan/schedule.
GTKY: What summer activity are you most looking forward to once your LO is here? Lounging by the pool, preferably with a drink in my hand. Really, that's all I want these days.

Feeling tired and grumpy, but aches and pains aren't too bad! I remember having a lot more discomfort with my first.
Anything baby-related this week?
Was supposed to have an appointment, but they called and cancelled it because the midwife called out. So nothing new
GTKY: What summer activity are you most looking forward to once your LO is here?
My favorite summer activity is swimming in the lake/river. Haven't done it yet this year, and probably won't end up going after LO is born either. But, we have been taking DD fishing a lot and she's been having so much fun!

Trouble falling asleep, back pain, what else is new.
Anything baby-related this week?
Not baby related, no. But getting DD1's big girl room sorted out has been consuming me. It's fun but I also just want it to be done!
GTKY: What summer activity are you most looking forward to once your LO is here?
Definitely ice cold beers, margaritas and other such wonderful drinks. I would also say using the pool, but I only recently realized that PP bleeding will interfere with that for a while

GTKY: What summer activity are you most looking forward to once your LO is here?
Going to the beach with him. I know he's only going to be weeks old, but I'm naive and think it'll be fine.
Rants/Raves/Symptoms: I got to see his sweet face at my growth scan today. I can't believe how big he is. My rant is my fire nerve on the outside of my left thigh. It would occasionally hurt if I was on my right side but about an hour ago it started hurting while I walked the dogs. I'm trying to convince the babe to move
Anything baby related? Growth scan today, our classes and meet the OB the last few days

so much pelvic pain when changing positions. The baby still hasn't flipped so I can't believe it's probably even going to get worse when he does

lots of walks with the baby in the stroller!
Rants/Raves/Symptoms? Sleeping is a challenge. It hurts so bad to roll over.
Anything baby-related this week? We got our travel system today and installed the car seat base. Returning one of the pack N plays we got tomorrow and then getting the reminder of the things on our list.
GTKY: What summer activity are you most looking forward to once your LO is here? Swimming and being outside! I know I won't do too much of it when he's here but summer is my favorite time of year and I plan to take full advantage of it.
