I can't stand auto payment for just that reason. I only use it if they make me.

My daughter's after school care. They have a field trip on Friday and volunteers are welcome. I have the day off, but no one can give me a straight answer on whether or not I can go (my police check is a few years old). I have talked to her daily supervisor, and left a message with the associate director. It's not rocket science people! Also I hate when people don't return messages.

Two of the people at my daughter's gymnastics class. We showed up to the gym this morning all ready and excited for class only to find out class was cancelled and they must have forgotten to let everyone know. There are 6 kids in the class and they forgot to call 3 of them. My daughter looks forward to her classes and was incredibly disappointed she had to leave. I understand the floor had to be fixed but a kid who just turned 3 doesn't care, she just wants to tumble.
The somewhat local theatre selling the Wiggles tickets. My daughter is a fan club member and received an email this morning letting us know they are touring next fall. The tickets go on sale on June 10th but fan club members can buy them June 8th. I went on the theatre website to pick out seats and found they are already selling them. The best seats are already sold out for the evening performance and by the time the presale is supposed to start it is likely there won't be many left. I called the theatre but they didn't seem concerned. I bought good seats for the early show, lucky I decided to check or we would have been out of luck.

Although she might see through it you could say your little one feels a bit sick/has a cold and you don't want to risk passing it on. I hate when someone try to accommodate me when I am actually trying to get out of something. (especially if it is someone I don't like, then their niceness annoys me)
A friend is 33 weeks with her shower coming up. She definitely has a reputation for not giving gifts at showers or weddings for various reasons, usually financial. Now she's venting to me that certain people might do the same to her "Just wait, so-and-so will probably only spend the bare minimum!" *facepalm* So rude.

I hate that! Showers are nice but no one is required to go, no one is required to give you anything, and especially if they can't afford it. You would hope someone who had experienced financial difficulties would be more understanding about someone else in the situation but certain people. Certain people, rich or poor, are just awfully greedy and uncaring.

Exactly!! I don't think anyone has batted an eye at a lack of gift in my circle, circumstances are no one's business. Shes been a close friend but her entire pregnancy has made my opinion of her change drastically.
I hate that! Showers are nice but no one is required to go, no one is required to give you anything, and especially if they can't afford it. @BumpasaurusRexif you google an image you want to use and right click on the image to "copy image location" and hit the little box that looks like a paper with a folded corner and paste what you copied in "image url" it will show up as a picture here.
The school secretary is my twatwaffle!!! So my 9 year old son had a zoo field trip today, which I signed up to chaperone. Then my 7 year old daughter had a field trip she should have taken a couple weeks ago, rescheduled for today too. My 7 year old was supposed to walk to our local park for lunch and playtime. I was concerned about 1 teacher to 25 kid ratio for about 6 classes (6:150) to walk that many first graders across streets and watch at a public park. They said they didnt want parents there, kinda crazy to me. I decided it made me too uncomfortable since I'd be over an hour away at the zoo with my son, to have her go. So my husband and I decided to just have her stay home with him today. When I got to the school I told the secretary I was calling her off, and she repeated in a snarky voice "you're calling her off?" So I replied yes I'm uncomfortable with it. In which she said even snottier "she's not going with you today on the field trip." Grrrrr!!! I was pissed. INSTEAD of saying what I wanted to say like DO YOUR JOB, MARK HER ABSENT, AND MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS!! I bit my tongue and said no she's at home with my husband. But that has had me frustrated all day!!

So my 9 year old son had a zoo field trip today, which I signed up to chaperone. Then my 7 year old daughter had a field trip she should have taken a couple weeks ago, rescheduled for today too. My 7 year old was supposed to walk to our local park for lunch and playtime.
