Re: Randoms 6/6-6/12

  • Please tell me I'm not the only one who has terrible insomnia! Every single night I will fall asleep for maybe 2 or 3 hours and then wake up and lay in bed tossing and turning for hours. I just want to sleep.

@Lynnlove28 You're not alone! I haven't fallen asleep before 3 a.m. in a couple weeks now I think. Even if I feel sleepy and come to bed I just lay here rotating like a damn rotisserie chicken for hours. I usually sleep from around 6 a.m. - 1 p.m. even though I've been trying my hardest to get back to a normal, diurnal schedule. At this point, knowing any sleep schedule will be a joke in the near future, I say f*** it.

  • Anyone doing pre-natal pilates? Looking to start it to hopefully help with some back and pelvic aches as well as just being some sort of activity since I've been rubbish since getting pregnant. Never done pilates before, and incredibly inflexible etc so a bit nervous but also hopeful it's good!

@ccfc1984 I was but I found I like prenatal yoga better. I ordered a prenatal Pilates DVd from Amazon for like $10 and it was pretty good. Let me find it. 10 Ms: Prenatal Pilates https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000RIWARG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_5dbxxb605PNKD

Thanks.  I've had some lower back, pelvis under bump aches so I thought the core work focus in pilates would be good. I've done non prenatal yoga before and it wasn't for me but might be something to consider.
  • My little brother graduated high school yesterday and the ceremony was outside on the football field. Apparently the heat really makes me swell, it was about 85 by the time it was over and I felt like I could feel my fingers swelling. Looks like I'll be spending a lot of time inside this summer.
  • You are not alone! I just lay there rolling around for hours. I gues operating on only 3hrs of sleep is good practice.
  • Thanks for these posts on BH. Had them over and over yesterday during a relatively mellow dance class but it had me googling and getting myself concerned.

And now constantly have feelings that I have to pee. Today I had to carefully consider walking with dog to close coffee shop or far coffee shop, recognizing I totally could pee myself. Close coffee shop won. I look forward to not planning around when I will or will not be at risk of peeing myself.
