@Runbooboo My first cycle on FF pegged O day on exactly CD14. Because it didn't have enough information, it based O day on the "normal" 28 day cycle. My first cycle was annovulatory and 62 days. I wouldn't count on FF being correct the first month in. Don't fret though!
@RunBooRun - Yes, I had issues with CM coming off the pill. It can take awhile for that to normalize. Allergy meds can definitely dry up CM, too! Even several months after going off the pill, I never had EWCM, so I started taking a supplement called FertileCM (available on Amazon), which did help me after about 2 months on it. Drinking lots of water helps, too, and there are other things you can do like take guaifenesin (Robitussin), but make sure it's the plain kind without any letters after it! Some ladies also say certain types of tea help, but I haven't had luck with that personally. Good luck! Oh, and for the temping thing... I think my husband thought I was crazy at first too. Just tell him it helps you understand your body and your hormones better, and helps you know if you are ovulating.
@BusinessWife ((hugs)) to you too! I definitely would have gone the piercing route had my parents not been so strict! I was embarrassed of my scars for a long time but now they are just part of me and they help remind me of how far I've come since then.
@RunBooRun My cycle was all messed up my first month off BCP. I think it's getting better already at cycle 2 but not really sure yet and it's definitely not completely normal. I think I'm going to try preseed next cycle if I don't get KU this one because I don't have much CM still. DH definitely thinks that temping is strange but I think he's more on board since I showed him the temp shift. He saw I've been recording when we've BD and he thought that was a bit strange also but later admitted he was happy I'm doing all this because he wants a baby.

I know the first cycle off BCP can be wonky, so I'm trying to just go with the flow. It's just tough because I've done a ton of reading about all of this, but learning how to apply it to yourself is different. Definitely not depending on FF projecting the correct O date.
R/R/CS: Although AF has arrived, I'm happy that this confusing cycle is over. I'm usually pretty regular -- averaging 32 to 34 days for my cycles. This last cycle was 49 days. I thought AF had arrived two weeks ago, but it only turned out to be light spotting. I'm thinking that all of the stress that I was under in early May (grad school final exams) is probably what may have affected this cycle.

In high school, I was definitely an over achiever - honor roll student, yearbook editor, student council member, president of a few clubs, and lettered in two sports. While this definitely kept me busy, I still found some time to have fun with my close group of friends. edit: typo

WAYDTGKU: temping (although my chart is crap and I slept through the alarm again! UGH!), checking CM (although I am pretty sure it means nothing for my body because it follows none of the norms. UGH!) and starting OPKs tomorrow.
R/R/CS: annoyed with TTC stuff. temping is a freaking mess this month. sort of dreading all the forced sex coming up this week. I just have such a strong feeling this isn't our month. So, I am focusing way less on it than I was last month. Trying to focus on the rest of my life, which is way more healthy for me. Started working out today with my SIL. We are going to be workout buddies for the next few months. Since we live together it makes sense and makes it less lonely. So, we are going to alternate days. I picked the workout for today and she picks tomorrow and so forth. We also decided today we are going to do a small triathlon in August. I am super excited for it, because it has been a bucket list item of mine for a few years. Nothing crazy big. But, a nice goal for the next 2 months. I just need to get my hands on a nicer bike for the race. I have a 45 year old bike that gets me around and is cute. But, it weighs like 40 pounds and is not the greatest. So, hoping to at least be able to borrow or rent something for the race and the couple weeks before it. Tomorrow the "running" starts. Meaning a very slow jog. I kind of hate running. But, I also hate needing to lose 20 pounds. So, here I go. Wish me luck!
GTKY: We did favourite childhood memories... What was your favourite High School memory? Were you a trouble-maker or pretty much a good kid? I have lots of them. I went to a tiny, tiny private school for high school. Mostly me and my best friend just doing our thing. We were really good kids. But, really, really enjoyed making fun of all the typical teenage things which we were not into at all. We were inseparable. I miss her more than anything else in my life right now. So, just driving around or watching HSN with her late at night or doing whatever.

R/R/CS: I'm bummed I've made it to 6 months, but I'm feeling optimistic still. I had a really good weekend, and my H has been in a good mood and very affectionate lately. He battles with depression sometimes and seeing him in a consistently good mood really does take the edge off not being pregnant this cycle. We cleaned up our little garden area yesterday and it looks so nice now! And I planted some pepper, tomato, and herb plants and I just want to go home and stare at them. And I'm going to start taking violin lessons again and even though it's very hard I'm excited. And I picked a cosplay for an anime convention in September. There's lots to be excited about
GTKY: We did favourite childhood memories... What was your favourite High School memory? Were you a trouble-maker or pretty much a good kid? I was a very good kid. I never skipped class, had great grades, and I hung out with all the nerds. It was a good mix, we weren't popular but we were plentiful so we got to claim our own lunch table in the quad (big deal!) and there were always people I knew in my classes. WAYDTGKU: Charting, opks
R/R/CS: Since this is my first cycle off the pill (hello, bad skin), I was planning on it being weird, just like @RunBooRun was talking about. In my case, I am getting a normal amount of CM (fertile CM included) but not turning any OPKs positive. I've read that some women just don't get a positive on an OPK but it would be nice! Also, I thought that FF would put my potential O day at CD14 because of the "normal 28 day cycle" but they have it at CD16, which is tomorrow. So we were good on timing if that's really the case. Kind of random but I did have a dip on CD12 so I thought that maybe pre-O, but the day after and the following days, my temps were about the same as they were before. Not really sure what's going to happen, but I guess we'll see soon.
GTKY: We did favourite childhood memories... What was your favourite High School memory? Were you a trouble-maker or pretty much a good kid? I was definitely a good kid in high school and always got good grades. My favorite high school memory would be meeting my future husband We had a small group of friends that we were always with and it was just fun.

@mrsstuessy I'm sorry you're feeling like it's not your month already, I hope you start feeling better about it soon. Have you tried setting 2 alarms with the second one being like 5-10 minutes later than the first? That is what I do. I try not to wake DH with temping so I have my bellabeat leaf that I wear on my wrist vibrate at 5am. It usually works but when I'm really tired I won't wake up so I have my phone set on the weekend for 5:05. If I do wake up with the first alarm I turn it off and then DH doesn't get woken up. During the week my normal alarm time is 5:30 so I just leave that one on and figure if I sleep through the alarm at 5 I could use the extra 30 minutes of sleep. I don't notice any temp issues with just 30 minutes.

R/R/CS: I can't seem to type a WAYDTGKU on mobile... Anyway, one thing I definitely did not miss when I was skipping AF on BCP was the hormone headaches! Proud to have 10,000 FitBit steps on my first day. I was definitely not as efficient because I was purposely taking extra steps. I probably looked like Jessie Spano trying to get those last steps in!
GTKY: We did favourite childhood memories... What was your favourite High School memory? Were you a trouble-maker or pretty much a good kid?
I was a good kid. Three sport athlete and honor student. Favorite memories were junior year powder puff, hall decorating during homecoming - we won 3/4 years, prom, and making states in soccer senior year. I can't really pick between them. We had a terrible football team since we were a small school, but we had spirit! The local tv station and newspaper covered our student fans just as much as the athletes.

It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
R/R/CS: I started doing my yoga again yesterday after taking a long break. It feels good to get back into the swing of it. I haven't done any yet today, but there's still some time. I'm more concerned with getting DH upstairs to BD after a very big dinner.
GTKY: We did favourite childhood memories... What was your favourite High School memory? Were you a trouble-maker or pretty much a good kid?
I was definitely a troublemaker. I mean, I still had mostly good grades because I tested well, but never did my homework. My favorite memories are probably how my friends and I used to get Six Flags season passes and go out there every weekend with a few beers. It was a blast.
@TheMrs hi! I don't post everyday (sometimes I feel like it would be the exact same thing everyday if I did and it just gets tedious to me - esp in WTO because I O late and then my LP is short). But it's totally up to you! If it helps you, then go for it. If you are more of a once every few days kinda gal, then that's cool too. Even if you don't post, you can still read and respond to others and be active.
Also fwiw, my first cycle off the pill was the most normal I have ever had lol. Then it has been getting progressively worse (cycle 11 now) as my body has found its groove (even though it's a crappy groove).

GTKY: We did favourite childhood memories... What was your favourite High School memory? Were you a trouble-maker or pretty much a good kid? High school wasn't that memorable... the fun really started in college. I would definitely relive my college days. They were a bit wild. However, I have felt more secure and happy in my thirties. A lot less drama and worrying about the future.
@Saralee797 A lot of women use the wondfo-type paper strip OPKs and HPTs, since they cost a lot less. For me, I just cough it up for the CBADv OPKs, because I feel like the wondfos have been a bit ambiguous for me, but I also have the wondfo hpts on hand, plus just a couple digital HPT's, should the need arise to confirm a BFP on a test strip.
