Miss M is too little for an exer-thingie and can't quite sit up on her own (she can sit propped up but always ends up on her face

) She loves her play gym, but I'm kind of stumped when it comes to playtime that's not on her back. She's awake and active for two to three hour stretches now and I'd just like to have her do some independant play so I could maybe wash clothes or something
Re: playtime with a 3/4 month old?
I remember independent play at that age being hard. Natalie would be content in her bouncy seat with the toy bar dangling overhead for maybe 5 minutes, long enough for me to start a load of laundry or something. She did enjoy the playgym. One thing that I found to be good was to lay her on her tummy on a blanket, then start up some toys that would play music/lights for a few minutes at a time. Oh man, things to SO much easier when they can sit up on their own!
