Ive only had the Sierra Trail Mix kind about 10 times in the last two weeks so NO BIG DEAL 'SCUSE ME WHILE I GO PANIC.

What is with all this listeria!!!!! Is anything safe!!!

 watch for any sort of fever/unusual upset stomach /diarrhea. .... I did find online that if you catch it and treat it everything should be fine....that made me feel a bit better about it all.....bleh.

I have a doctor's appointment Monday already. Will definitely bring it up! I have so many symptoms lately that I just chalk up to the magic of pregnancy but...but but but! I sure hope babies can't inherit their mother's paranoia while in utero....

Because of sunflower seeds??!!! I'm literally eating a salad with sunflower seeds in it as I type. Wtf.

Is it just me or has there been a plethora of listeria outbreaks? I feel like every week it's something else.

Oh man thank god the gas station by my house only sells the chocolate chip and brownie ones for me to grab when I need a quick snack-but I do love some Nature Valley, I'll have to watch that. Thanks for the info!

Chocolate milk is being recalled in Canada too. The Nielsen brand but only the ones sold in bags. What's with all the recalls?!

I'd like to say that because this group is pregnant the word listeria encites (appropriate) panic but this is the most amount of recalls I've seen, ever.  What the hell is going on?

@DiFazette my theory is that we are aware of it more than ever. Maybe it's always been a big thing but now I see "The L Word" and actually care? I dunno but I'm with you. It's suddenly lurking around every corner.

I used to eat a lot of Clif Bars, but haven't in a long time (switched to Luna). But, none of these kinds were ones I'd eat anyway so I'd be good!

Good info though, and yeah... I think because we're more in tune with Listera and what harm it can cause, we pay attention to it more.

I think not only are we paying attention more, but for those who are on the forums a lot, we're also around people who are paying attention more.  Before this, I would never be around people who would say "oh hey guess what, Cliff bars have been recalled due to listeria".
