Hello all! 

I wanted to introduce myself on this board.  DH (28) and I (26) have been married almost four years and TTC just at a year and had our annual/first round of tests last month.  He came back normal and I came back with a bleeding cyst (OBGYN says it shouldn't be affecting fertility) and otherwise normal US but my progesterone levels said I wasn't ovulating.  OBGYN thought we'd try fixing what we knew was a problem (lack of ovulation) before HSG/LAP.  We started our first round of generic clomid (50mg CDs5-9) yesterday and I'm excited/nervous.

Still a lot of emotions going on.  You never think it'll be you and then when it is you're almost dumbfounded by how many people it affects.  It's the best kept worst secret ever.  I have a couple of friends who know what we're going through which helps, but these boards have been such a comfort to have friends to walk with.

Anyway, that's me in a nutshell!

Welcome! It is emotional for sure.. some days i'm ok..other days it becomes much harder....i really thought when i was ready it wouldn't be a problem... so i waited until i was married and until we had some years alone.... now i'm creeping up to my mid thirties and for the first time it hit me, we may not ever have children.. that makes it really hard.. and makes me wish we would have started years ago... 

this board is wonderful... only 1 friend really knows whats going on.. which helps but she has 6 wonderful children..3 biological and 3 adopted so she doesn't really understand what i am going through and has said some things that were a bit insensitive (never intentionally..but you know) having all these amazing ladies for support is so amazing

First off, welcome. This board had been a great source of comfort and support in the short time I have been on it and I hope it is the same for you. Also, I am sorry you have to be here and hope you have good luck with your first round of clomid.

This is an emotional rollarcoaster, as you have discovered and I wish more people talked about this in real life. It's just too hard I think.

Good luck with your first Clomid cycle!   The board has been very helpful for me with getting support from people who get it.   I've told a couple of friends but as a previous poster said they just don't really get it.

Welcome @zigzag8412. I actually have the same diagnosis as you..DHs numbers look great and I don't ovulate. I've never tried Clomid but I did have two cycles of Letrozole and my body responded very well to it (CD21 #s came in at 24.01 & 35.4) and I had no side effects except a little O pain.
