February 2017 Moms

Already showing?!

Without fail, I start showing at four weeks with every pregnancy.

I took a picture on Monday, not showing at 3w6d. Took one this morning, Thursday 4w1d, and I have a noticeable tummy.

I dont feel feel bloated at all, just hard pregnancy tummy!

Anyone else?

  • Same, extremely bloated. I know I'm not really showing, but it looks like I packed on a few already. Crazy how dramatic it was.
  • It might be hard but it's not really showing yet. :) They are so tiny at this point and still way down. That being said, the bloat is probably from the pregnancy and so caused by baby in a way.

No matter how I start the pregnancy I don't show for a while. (not if I am really thin, average or a bit more than average)

From my understanding, baby is still behind the pelvis bone and very, very, very tiny.

You may be more bloated than normal but I highly doubt you are actually showing.

It is exciting to think about, though!  Soon enough.

  • Bloat, bloat, bloat. There is so much bloat happening up in here it's crazy. I'm not a tiny woman but I already look 6 months pregnant. Seriously. I took a photo for my best friend yesterday and her exact words were "holy hell woman."

Yup, super bloated and can't suck it in. Also my "food babies" have been ridiculous. I refer to all of this as my "magic bump," since it changes shape and size all the time. Trying to prepare for the shock of when I actually start to show!

  • Haha, I'm glad I'm not alone! I know it's not baby bump yet, but it's definitely a pregnancy bump :)
  • I feel like I'm showing too but it's definitely just bloat. Bloat from my lower abdomen and up to my breasts, basically. Gained two pounds already... It's great.
  • Yepp already showing! 6wks along. If you've already been pregnant your uterus has muscle
memory and starts to expand quicker than in a first pregnancy for those saying it's just bloat, not baby like you said but still a bump :)
  • I am DEFINITELY bloated. My husband called it. He was like, take a test because you are definitely pregnant. And sho nuff...
  • The bloat is REAL!!! Unfortunately I have a bridesmaids dress to fit into next Friday (I just mastered finally being able to zip this dress over all my extra flab and it provides me with way more back-fat cleavage than my boobs have ever produced! haha) Attempting to not eat anything too crazy, but come next Saturday, the pregnancy indulgences are ON!!!

@lferretti89 I'm in a wedding June 18! Haven't dared to try on the dress yet... They'll be a lot of sucking in ;).
  • I'm in a wedding in August. My dress should still fit pretty well, hopefully pregnant bewbs will be manageable.
  • I have my OWN wedding in 3 weeks (overseas) and my dress barely fit before!
  • I have a 6 month pregnant-looking belly. Still recovering from severe OHSS from IVF (I have had 3 paracentesis' draining total of 10 liters ). I am 5 weeks tomorrow and look VERY pregnant. I get very self conscious that people are going to think I am pregnant (choosing to keep things private as long as we can). I am small framed (117lbs 5'5) so the belly is so noticeable and hard to hide. If it wasn't so painful I think i would find the bump fun. I  finding myself isolating myself to avoid people finding out but I feel like that's not healthy. Any advice for how to hide my tummy? It could take weeks to go down.
  • Definitely bloat!  Bloating is one of the early pregnancy symptoms.  Also, at 4 weeks, baby is the size of a chia seed, almost not visible to the naked eye, and definitely not big enough to cause a noticeable belly.  Bloat sucks, for sure!

I'm glad I'm not alone! I've been letting it all hang out today because it hurts to suck it in.  It is kind of freeing not having to worry about being in shape for bikini season though
