Hot flashes?

I feel absolutely crazy but that's the only apt description. Face/scalp/neck/shoulders will feel absolutely flushed and hot, as though I've been sitting with my face too close to a big campfire. Mostly happens at night but I had one at work earlier as well. Goes away after a few moments and then I sit shivering for a while. Not feverish. Just passed the 5 week mark and I'm only 25. What the heck? Anyone else going through something similar?

Yes, this just started happening to me yesterday!  I'm just hot from the inside out....throughout the day and night.

Definitely! My face actually turns bright red and I feel so overwhelmingly hot. Usually it happens with morning sickness or if I'm really upset (which happens more frequently now).

Yes! This has been happening to me. I'm 24. I keep thinking our A/C is broken. My husband usually runs REALLY hot and I always run REALLY cold. Usually he is sweating bullets while I feel slightly chilled. However this past week I've had these moments that suddenly hit me and I'm sweating, hot, and I have to get up and walk around fanning myself and his reaction is "It actually feels pretty good in here... I think you're just pregnant." LOL

Totally normal. It's the change in your body's estrogen that causes it. Your brain basically counter-reacts to the change by releasing a couple of other hormones that increase blood flow. 

It's really gross when it turns into night sweats and you wake up shivering in soaked sheets
