Let's talk periods

Hey ladies, I was pretty active on some of the other boards and then took a break. I had a miscarriage on April 2nd after out 8th treatment Cycle and 3rd IUI. I had a D&C on the 15th of April. I had bleeding the 18th through the 25th and my HCG was officially back at zero on May 6th. My questions is how long did it take for y'all to start. I'm anxiously waiting so that we can start our next injection cycle. Thanks ladies!

I miscarried March 11th at 9 weeks with a Blighted Ovum measuring 7 weeks. I started my next period April 15th. Hope this helps.

Hello, sorry for your loss.  I did not have a D&C, but my period started back up again exactly 28 days after I delivered the placenta, which was 6 days after I took my first dose of cytotec. My HCG was super duper high and crashed really, really fast. It officially measured zero 25 days after the start, but my betas were two weeks apart and it was probably at zero around ten days previous. 

It is definitely totally different for everyone, though.

My period started like 40 days after my d&c (which at the time my cycles were about 35-37 days, so only a few days longer than the norm).

Hi. I'm sorry for your loss. My period started 27 days after my first D&C, and took 8 weeks to show up after my second. No rhyme or reason to it, unfortunately.

After my first D&C, I waited about one month for AF.  After my second D&C it took 61 days!  My bleeding went on for much longer with that one.  Also I was getting faint positive hpt's both times up until AF.

It took me over 7 weeks to get my period after my D&C...i spotted/bled for almost 3 weeks straight after the procedure and Hcg was slow to get out of my system, wasn't zero until >6 weeks. Everyone is different.

I was 18.5 weeks when I miscarried twins so I had to go to L&D to deliver mine and the second baby brought the entire placenta with him so no D&C for me. but it took 44 days for me to get my period

My period was 28 days after my d&c my second was 32 days after that.

I did not have a D&C, but started bleeding 24 days after my miscarriage which is on the cusp for being a "period" or just being residual bleeding from the actual miscarriage. My next cycle after that was 35 days.

I didn't have a D&C - but I think mine was about 33 days which is approximately my normal cycle

I had a d&c on 4/2 and still haven't started... =/

I had a d&c on 2/1 and no AF until mid-April. I had some spotting, but no full flow and HCG wasn't to zero until mid-April. My RE told me I could start with a medicated IUI cycle right away.

After my MC bleeding stopped it was 40 days before I started bleeding again. And then I bled for 6 weeks. I took misoprotisol and an ultrasound after the MC bleeding stopped showed everything had passed but part of my uterus was thicker than the rest, which if I had to guess, I'd say was the reason for the blood apocalypse when I started bleeding again.  
It took me 3 cycles to get back to a more normal cycle, but now it's being weird again (currently on cycle 7 TTCAL)

I had my d&c at 10wk(baby died at 6.5wk) and bled due to that for about 2 weeks. I got my first AF a month later (bleeding lasted about 2wk) and have yet to receive my second AF and on CD 52 with multiple bfn's.

I had a natural miscarriage/subsequent delivery at 17 wks on 5/19, bled and spotted for about three weeks, and just started my period today- 37 days after delivering. My cycles usually were 29-33 days so it's not that far off from my norm.

I'm sorry for your loss.

On my first MC I had a MMC due to blighted ovum, and had to have a D&C at 9w. Had my period 28 days after that. 

On on my second MC it occurred naturally (CP around 5w), passed everything and didn't need any further procedure. I had my period 30 days after it happened.

I've had 2 D&Cs, one at 14 wks and one at 9 wks. Both times it was about 6 wks before my period came again. That 6 weeks includes 2.5-3 wks of bleeding post D&C.

I didn't have a D&C but when I delivered twins at 18.5 weeks i had my first period 44 days later. Felt like it took forever but my OB said that was right on track.

I just got mine at 5.5 weeks post D&E at 13 weeks. It's been such a long time since I've had one, as I used to be on the Mirena before I got pregnant.
