I realize how selfish this is going to sound, but my TW is this complete placenta previa.  It's not even the fact that I will have to have a CS instead of a vaginal birth - I had already planned on a RCS.  I'm on pelvic rest as a result of the previa, and my libido has shot up during the third trimester, but I can't even have sex.  Obviously we're following doctor's orders and abstaining, but this sucks.

I don't think that sounds selfish at all! Just another shitty thing about pregnancy that no one can predict ahead of time.

@sami1784 not selfish at all! I was on pelvic rest for months because of a marginal previa and it almost killed me. I did a touchdown dance when my placenta moved and I was able to get mine again.

Not too many TWs out there today I see...Unfortunately though, I am a TW. I'm cranky, highly irritable, and DH says that I'm "aloof." Basically that's a fancy term for "cold-hearted betch" I think.. Literally everything, even the sight of other people, annoys the crap out of me lately. I've definitely become that "angry pregnant lady." 7 weeks to go!

People i work with. Front receptionist took friday of last week, today and tomorrow off and the people in this office think I'm at the walk-in resident's beck and call. UH, HELLO, I'm 8 months pregnant and while I don't flash that card around, I deserve a little help too. I'm trying to do MY work as well! CHRIST ALMIGHTY, I'M PISSED!

@rnyland1 I feel you. Less than 5 weeks to go here and I am even getting unreasonably irritated with the animals, who don't know any better. DH tries but sometimes he just irritates me, especially his driving. I'm not excited that DH leaves to another state for two weeks on Sunday, but at least he won't be subjected to my irritable wrath for the time being. And I get the bed all to myself! 

@YeezusButters I have taken to eating past the 3 bites I'm hungry for even though I know it will result in worse heartburn and acid reflux later... Because dammit, I cooked and it sounded so good and I want to ENJOY my food.  Ugh! Give me all the food.

Not sure if my cell phone provider is the TW or the location of my apartment, but I've been unable to get any kind of a signal the last few days. I can't make or receive phone calls, and texting is really spotty too. I've never had an issue up until maybe the end of last week. Of course, this is making me really cranky, so in turn I am also the twatwaffle. I'm really hoping I can lose the attitude by the time DH gets home because the man has been so patient with me lately that I want to be nice to him and not bite his head off at every little thing!

Either everyone else is a twatwaffle or I am.  But I refuse to claim that it's me so, everyone else is a twatwaffle.  Especially all of the clients who freak out after holidays and they think everything is an emergency. RIGHT NOW.  It was really an emergency 2 weeks ago but you wanted to wait and see and then there was a holiday and you were just TOO BUSY and decided to bombard us today.  Oh and no trying to make a last minute appointment is also not an emergency.  Nor does it mean you get to be rude to the reception staff because you couldn't be bothered to make sure your pet had it's appointment, medication, etc. before the holiday.  Where's the tequila?

TW is my ex boyfriend of 7 years. Today is his birthday. For some reason since breaking up something HUGE always happens on his birthday, seriously it has become unavoidable.
...Well guess whose hooked up to monitors in L&D looking at a possible induction this evening? This girl! What a dick.

@theshannondee - maybe if baby is born today, it will replace the negative association from TW ex-BF?  Either way, I hope everything is OK and that you don't have to go through that tonight!

@theshannondee  Ugh I hate reminders of old BFs. I agree with @sboston06 that if Elliot is born today then you will think of him today and not annoying ex. Either way, I hope all works out and keep us posted!

Comcast is the twat of all twats. I finally cancelled my service with them after five years recently because century link beat their price for the exact same service by 80 dollars a month and comcast customer service is a literal steaming pile of garbage. Canceling was a hug hassle but I finally got it done and returned all their shit and moved on with my life. Then I started getting these weird phone calls from an 800 number that never left messages so I blocked it because they wouldn't stop. They called me 47 times in one day! Today they finally left a message and lo and fucking behold it was comcast saying I didn't return my cable boxes and they are charging me 200 dollars for them, even though I did return them! 

Long story short: fuck comcast.

@stellaluna14 Comcast will always be a tw. They do that a lot to people. We just broke up with dish Sunday, my God was that lady a tw as well.

@stellaluna14 We made the switch to CenturyLink a few years ago because they had awesome pricing. Fast forward a few years and we were paying nearly $300 for cable and Internet. They kept upping our rates once they had us locked in. So keep an eye on your invoices! We ended up switching back to our old provider.

My tw is my student(s) whom chose to waste the 15+ hours my partner teacher and I gave them to work on a culminating project for the end of the elementary school time in Spanish immersion (they go to middle school next year). No matter how much guidance, reminders, checklists, support, parent volunteers, etc...we still have kids who are freaking out because they didn't finish (it's a big presentation tomorrow morning) and want to do the awesome thing of just skipping school tomorrow to avoid being embarrassed. I personally believe that it will be more embarrassing to explain why you skipped school than to show up with what you have. Also, living where I live, the parents are total lawn mower parents and do too much for them so you can just imagine the emails. 9 more days of school!!

When we lived in the northeast our internet password was always "comcastsucks" because my husband REALLY wanted a tech to come out and have to ask for the password. They didn't ever need to know.

@stellaluna14 Comcast is horrific. I hate them with a passion. We have internet through them because we have no other option here right now. It's awful. The internet goes out all the freaking time. Their customer service is generally horrendous. They make my blood boil just thinking of them. 

@thepen15ismighty We just broke up with Dish too. It took forever to make them agree to let us cancel. I actually loved the Dish service and it was really well priced for a long time, but we're going strictly with Netflix, Hulu, and downloading shows now.

Thanks for all the love ladies. L&D kicked us out which is excellent news. No bad juju birthday for us! Now I'm on bedrest until doc says otherwise. Original induction date of June 9/10 still stands unless something else comes up in the meantime. HURRAY! 
Oh and Comcast is ALWAYS a TW, right?

My dad is a TW, along with my older brother.  My older brother and I had an argument... nothing huge but my brother made it into a huge deal and he won't talk to me now.  He's 30 years old and doesn't have rational reactions to situations (this is not an insult, he has some issues although not diagnosed)... so I wasn't surprised that this happened and am more than willing to talk things out whenever he's ready.  DD's birthday party is in a month and I haven't decided how I'm going to handle inviting my brother and dealing with that whole situation.  I told my dad not to say anything to him about the party because I wanted to handle it in my own time and my own way.  My dad proceeds to tell me how it won't be that bad and basically wants to force something that needs to be on my terms since it's my house and a party for my DD.  My dad has actually been the center of a lot of tension between us anyway, and he just needs to step away.

Some of my husband's friends were over earlier because they had a band practice. They all, with the exception of my husband, proceeded to get really drunk and obnoxious. One of them kept yelling about how we should name our son after him and if we didn't he would just call him that anyways every time he came over just to be a dick. 

My tolerance for dealing with drunk people right now is exactly zero.

@stellaluna14 we vacationed with some of our best friends this weekend. I had a ton of fun and they weren't super obnoxious but I had definitely hit my limit of drunk people by Monday. I did tell them that next year, I was going to be fucking WASTED all of Memorial Day weekend and they could drive me around and take care of the baby. I'm going to start pumping at Christmas just for that weekend . Payback!
