    Thanx for starting @Piperella!

I'm in my 16th week and only have the occasional throw up left, which I take compared to how it was. I do feel the need to sleep a lot and am still not fond of warm dinners, but again, I'll take it

No appointments this week, have to wait a whole week to see my baby, but have decided I want to know what it is, so am pretty excited.

Definitely the not having to wear layers over layers over layers to get outside. Norway is absolutely stunning at summer time, which always makes me fall in love with my city.

  • Hey ladies . I am 15 weeks and not feeling so great . I'm still bleeding from my SCHs and am having some painful stabbing pains in my sides / abdomen . I am scheduled for a 16 week check next week but I am debating going in this week if I don't feel better . When I was at the hospital over the weekend they said I should be fine to wait until my 16 week check since the baby looks fine . Thank god he's fine . I am back at work today and just wish I could go home to rest. I hope this week gets better .

Question of the week - I live in Texas and it is SO hot so I will probably be chillin inside a lot this summer BUT I am looking forward to eating icecream . Haha .

  • 20 weeks today! I'm excited to be at the halfway point. I'm seeing a very visible bump now (I'm plus sized so I'm always worried I just look fatter, not pregnant). This weekend we are going to Martha's Vineyard for our babymoon. Hubs and I have never been before so I hope it will be a nice relaxing weekend.

I am looking forward to everything summer is, warm weather (which I'm already combating with air conditioning) going outside without a thousand layers and no snow shoveling! We go to Maine for a week in August and im very much looking forward to that.

I am 16 weeks now and I had an appointment today. It was great to hear the heartbeat on doppler. I will have the anatomical scan at June 28th and looking forward to seeing our baby . I feel like it is a long wait. This weekend we went to Poconos and it was so nice to have a relaxing weekend. For the first time in a vacation, we took it really easy.
@mskeenan I am sorry that you are still not feeling well. It mush be so hard not to worry. I hope the SCH stops soon and you can enjoy the rest of the pregnancy.
@kennelchick Martha`s Vineyard and Maine sound so great, enjoy your time. We are planning to go to Maine in August as well.
QOTW: I am looking forward to wearing sun dresses and loose skirts. Pants are getting tighter and  tighter, so dresses feel much better. I am also excited about going to the beach and to the parks on the weekends, I think there is a lot more to do in NYC over the summer. But the city started to smell urine and trash already, something not too attractive.
  • @mskeenan I am so sorry you are going through this again. My midwife did tell me that if you have a hematoma early in first trimester there is a higher chance of getting another one late first or early second. Hope it goes away fast and the rest of your pregnancy goes smoothly.

Im looking forward to my bump growing bigger and wearing maxi and sun dresses. I live in Chicago, so I am also looking forward to all the neighborhood street fests! I am not looking forward to mosquitos and having to wear to s of repellent to avoid the Zika virus.
  • Congrats, @kennelchick on getting to the half-way point!  I was so excited when I hit that point!  Enjoy your babymoon!
Sorry you have had to deal with bleeding, @mskeenan.  Unfortunately for those of us dealing with IF, we don't get a free pass on symptoms and side effects.  Hope you feel better soon.
@ZoeFer - So glad you had a great appointment!  I love hearing the heartbeat.  I bought my own doppler out of nervousness, but now that I'm feeling the kicks, I don't need it anymore.  I love hearing that fast heartbeat though.  It is everything!
I'm so excited for your upcoming appointment, @tvh1982!!  I'm so glad I found out that I was having a boy (and I would have been thrilled for a girl, too).  I'm horrible with surprises!
@Rachd110 - I can only imagine the yummy food at street fests!  Wish we had more where I lived!

AFM, I'm doing pretty well.  This weekend I was a sloth and enjoyed every bit of it.  I can really feel Bojangles moving now.  DH got to feel him kicking last Thursday and my cat felt him last night (Jinx just fell back asleep on my stomach after jumping at the kick).  I'm still more tired than I think I normally would be, but I've always been a tired person.  22 weeks now and I'm looking forward to hitting viability in a couple of weeks.

Here's a picture of what I looked like watching television this weekend:

QOTW: I'm looking forward to the sunshine, warmer weather, and being off on Fridays. I have to work 10 hour shifts M-Th, but it is so worth it to have Fridays off!
  • Hi ladies! Today is my anatomy scan and as usual I'm nervous. It's been months since my last u/s so I'm looking forward to seeing the growth of our LO.
@ZoeFer @kennelchick I'm going to Maine in August as well for my birthday. I've never been and wanted to try something different this year so we agreed to head north.

QOTW: Im really not a fan of summer temps but I love it because of the crabs. I'm looking forward to the simplicity of dresses and sandals and lazy beach days.

@Jerseygirl856 It must be so exciting to have the anatomical scan, good luck and enjoy your scan today ! Are you going to find out the sex of the baby today as well ? We have been to Maine few years ago and loved it , I am looking forward to go back. We went to Ogunquit and Pemaquid area, and both regions were so beautiful.
  • @ZoeFer thank you! I learned the sex at 12weeks from my genetic testing. I'm just anxious to see that all is well with the baby and then we will plan a small dinner with family to reveal.
  • I can't believe I'm at the top of the list.  Third trimester next week!!  Holy cow!!

@jerseygirl856 - I hope everything went well at your anatomy scan today! :)
@mskeenan - I'm sorry you're still dealing with bleeding.  I'm sure that's really scary.  Thinking of you.

AFM, I'm 27w2d today.  I can't believe how fast it's all going.  I'm excited to hit 28 weeks.  I have a bunch of milestones in my mind from working with premature babies - 28 weeks, 34 weeks, 37 weeks.  They're the goals I look toward.  28 weeks will be a BIG relief for me, 34 weeks an even bigger relief, and after 37 weeks, I feel like I can deliver twins and have a relatively good chance of not having NICU time for either one.  I'll be thrilled if I make it to my scheduled c-section at 38w1d, of course.  :)  Anyway, I'm in between appointments.  I have an appointment and growth ultrasound next week.  Looking forward to seeing how big the babies are and if they're still in the 70 and 90th percentiles!!

QOTW: Being able to wear less clothing without people looking at me strangely.  I'm SO HOT lately and haven't worn a jacket in months.  The mornings until recently were still in the 40s and people looked at me like I was crazy when I was dropping my daughter at daycare.  :)  Also looking forward to doing fun things outside with my daughter - the pool, the park, the zoo!  And I'm looking forward to having these babies at the end of the summer! :)

See you all in third tri!!
    *** Child & current pregnancy mentioned ***
    Me - 41 (PCOS), Hubby - 43 (healthy)
7/2013 - Sweet baby girl born (Clomid + TI)
    3/2014 - TTC #2, return to RE 7/2014
12/2015: IVF #1 transferred two great looking embryos - BFP!
First ultrasound: TWO beautiful little heartbeats!!
Harmony: negative; level 2: babies look great and are boy/girl! :)
  • Hi @mskeenan! How are you doing? Hope the bleeding has stopped by now!

  • Maine must be the place to go. We are also planning a trip to Maine in August. With the Zika virus spreading, I think it's safe to go north.
  • I just had my babymoon, and while I didn't go to Maine (which sounds pretty awesome), we opted for NYC with a Mets game.  We just had a long weekend and I'm ready to go back.   Yay for the NorthEast!
  • ZoeFerZoeFer member
@Piperella it is great that you enjoyed NY for your babymoon, I live in the city and the weather is finally nice last few weeks.
Oghh my belly just popped this week, it is really a baby bump now :)
  • @tvh1982 thanks for asking ! My bleeding is done . It let up on Tuesday . Still lots of weird cramping/pains but that can be normal , too . Feeling much more calm now that the blood is gone . I'm nervous for my 16 week appointment this week .

thanks for the well wishes everyone !

I'm jealous of everyone's travels ! I would love to escape somewhere north where it's cooler :) Down here in Texas  it is hot and very humid . We have been having a lot of flooding which isn't good for the mosquitos . On the bright side so far we are having a "mild " summer and it hasn't gotten too hot yet . It usually goes over 100 so I'm hoping we don't have too much of that this year !!
