What's new with baby (size, development)? Arm and leg buds and some joints.

Even though it's early, is there anything you're doing to plan/get ready for the baby's arrival? Still just mentally planning.

Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: Nada

When is your next appointment? June 14th for an ultrasound. 

GTKY: Are you doing anything interesting over the summer, taking a vacation, moving, etc.? No.  I had planned to quit my job but the pregnancy is throwing that off.  So work and as much waterpark fun as I can squeeze in.

What's new with baby (size, development)? Size of a sesame seed, apple seed, nerd, etc.

Even though it's early, is there anything you're doing to plan/get ready for the baby's arrival? We're going to a local consignment shop for baby and maternity stuff to see what's out there.

Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: I'm definitely feeling more nauseated little by little each day. Still having cramping and sore boobs occasionally.

When is your next appointment? My first appointment at the birth center isn't until July 1st but I'm going to try to get an U/S and pregnancy confirmation before then at the U/S place that my birth center uses.

GTKY: Are you doing anything interesting over the summer, taking a vacation, moving, etc.? We're moving in August to a rental house when our lease runs up. So excited to finally leave this horrible apartment!

Even though it's early, is there anything you're doing to plan/get ready for the baby's arrival? Nothing this week. Just reading all the pregnancy books I got from the library.  

Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: Like @PaukMeKiande, I feel more and more nauseous every day, so fully expecting MS to start very soon. Other than that, I have some light cramping, sore boobs, exhaustion, and am hungry most of the time.

GTKY: Are you doing anything interesting over the summer, taking a vacation, moving, etc.? Not really a vacation, but we're planning a big camping trip at the end of July to this little lake a few hours from our house.

What's new with baby (size, development)? Size of a raspberry.  Baby is developing taste buds!

Even though it's early, is there anything you're doing to plan/get ready for the baby's arrival? Not really.  Thinking about transitioning DS to a toddler bed in the coming months to open up the crib for 2.0.

Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: Really freaking over MS and exhaustion.  I'm on diclegis but still throwing up every night around 7pm like clockwork. 

When is your next appointment? June 7th. I'll be 9w4d

GTKY: Are you doing anything interesting over the summer, taking a vacation, moving, etc.? Going to my parent's cabin in the Sierras for fourth of July weekend and camping for a week at the end of July with the in-laws.  I'm hoping all MS symptoms are gone and I can really enjoy the camping trip.

Even though it's early, is there anything you're doing to plan/get ready for the baby's arrival? I'm buying a swanky stroller that I've had my eye but for half the price from Craigslist!!

Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: I started brown spotting yesterday, and feel like some of my symptoms went away, so I'm nervous.  Trying to be positive and hope for the best. Ole' trusty nausea comes and goes, so at least I have that.

When is your next appointment? June 13th.  I'll be a little over 10 weeks.

GTKY: Are you doing anything interesting over the summer, taking a vacation, moving, etc.? We took our vacation in March, so it's going to be a boring and hopefully uneventful summer.

Hi everyone! I go here, even though I don't have a ticker set up. I'm always mobile. 

What's new with baby (size, development)? 
I'm 7 weeks today. Baby is the size of a micro chamelian. Today baby is officially and embryo!

Symptoms? 
So much all day sickness. I throw up everything, all the time. It's exhausting this time around with a nursing toddler. 

When is your next appt?
my first appt is June 1st.  Can't wait to hear that heartbeat!

GYKY: Are you doing anything interesting over the summer?
i have a two week break in my teaching term after next week and we are driving to California to visit family and spend a few days in Tahoe with just DH and DS. The drive is about 12 hours each way. Just praying my nausea doesn't ruin the whole thing. We will do a few camping trips and beach trips this summer around our work schedules.

@PaukMeKiande I'm glad that you've found a place that will work with your doctor and can get another u/s. I couldn't believe you were going to have to wait until 20 (right?) weeks! That seems like forever away. 

@ashanne88 Sorry you're so sick I hope it lets up soon!

@gonetothesea Scary about the spotting. But it seems like spotting is totally normal. Try not to worry. And good score on the stroller! I'm getting excited for summer because there's going to be a ton of garage sales and there should be some good stuff for us to find!

Baby is now the size of a pea! 

Even though it's early, is there anything you're doing to plan/get ready for the baby's arrival?
Not too much, we just got a new carseat for DS because he was about to grow out of his infant seat. So we will use the other one for baby #2

June 9th at 7w6d for first main appointment although I might get too impatient and ask for bext week

we just got back from a 2 week stay in hawaii so we won't do much over the summer. We are planning a trip to england/ireland before baby though since I have never been!

Hi everyone a little bit late,


What's new with baby (size, development)?  Baby is the size of a blueberry and is beginning to form limbs!

Even though it's early, is there anything you're doing to plan/get ready for the baby's arrival? I'm a day late but-  to be honest, this week there's so much going on in my life that I haven't even had time to think about baby. I flew back to England a week ago on Friday and then had to fly back this Thursday because my mom is really not doing well and is very close to dying ☹️. 

Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: Still just achy boobs, some cramping and exhaustion (but that could be from constant jetlag). I've seen loads of my relatives over the past few days and a lot of them say they never had morning sickness (even my cousin who had TRIPLETS), so maybe it's genetic. Or someone out there is giving me a break with everything going on. 

When is your next appointment? I'm going to have a scan whenever I'm back in England, but won't actually meet a midwife until July 7th. I could have met one earlier but I'm just out of the country so much with all this family stuff... You meet a midwife first here not an OB.

GTKY: Are you doing anything interesting over the summer, taking a vacation, moving, etc.? My husband and I have now had to cancel our delayed honeymoon and a trip to the Alps in France where I was supposed to be a bridesmaid in a wedding because of everything going on with my mom. So we've just booked a trip to the happiest place on earth- DISNEY WORRRRLLLDDDD. I'm so excited!! Well also book somewhere in Europe once everything calms down stateside.
