What is the size of the baby? Big lol, my belly from last week to this week practically doubled in size, it's kinda crazy actually

How many days left until baby comes into this world? I'm not counting days, but I'm 29w today

GTKY: What did you want to be when you were small? Cardiothoracic Surgeon (but then I had a horrific AP Bio teacher who completely turned me off of science, and I'll seriously never forgive her for that)

Rant/Raves/Symptoms :  Just feeling heavy, as if I actually have to hold my belly up

How many days left until baby comes into this world? @SkiChic626 we have the same due date. I'm 27 wks today too.  I went almost 3 wks early last time so you never know. 

GTKY: What did you want to be when you were small? A lawyer. I ended up going to b-school with a career in finance...I work with a lot of lawyers!

Rant/Raves/Symptoms : I am starting to feel emotional about losing our current family dynamic. This family of three is so special but I know it will only get better with this new addition...I hope

Katienu I'm actually 29w, due 8/11 , but I'll probably have my c-section on 8/5 or 8/8!  And I just looked and apparently baby is an acorn squash this week...these fruit and veggie measurements make no sense to me!  Sometimes it seems like the next week they pick a smaller plant LOL

How many days left until baby comes into this world? im 30 weeks today so 10 weeks left about 69 days

GTKY: What did you want to be when you were small?  A lawyer or a professor... I'm a lawyer.

Rant/Raves/Symptoms : I know it's still early, but baby is breech and in almost the same position as DS.  I really want to VBAC and am doing all that I can to stretch and give this baby room to turn before needing an ECV!  Also, I'm apparently failing at looking like a professional today, according to my husband.  Purple tennis shoes, a giant bra because those things have grown like mad in the last two weeks and a cotton dress are not working.

What is the size of the baby? 27 w, size of lettuce

How many days left until baby comes into this world? Official due date is August 25, however with twins we anticipate about a month early. The longest the doctor will let me go is 37 weeks. I have no idea if my body will hold up that long either. It's already starting to get uncomfortable at 27 weeks. 

GTKY: What did you want to be when you were small? A veterinarian (grew up on a farm), a sideline reporter for the NFL. I now work in higher education. 

Rant/Raves/Symptoms : my hips are really starting to bother me and I do prenatal yoga and see a chiropractor. Still have heartburn, allergies, etc.

Next doctors appointment? Two next week. The specialist on Wednesday to measure their growth and my Ob on Friday for the glucose test.

GTKY: What did you want to be when you were small? I wanted to be a doctor until i found out I can't see peoples blood it makes me so weak and sick, i literally would have passed out if i was lbvs

Rant/Raves/Symptoms : I am getting morning sickness again and doctor told me its my acid reflex and baby pushing in there so i need to go buy some pepcid or i forgot the other one

Questions? Is anyone getting pain on there calves?

@tmk0325 Just curious why your doc will only let you go to 37 weeks?  A friend of mine recently had twins and her doc wanted her to go as long as possible.  She made it into her 38th week and actually went into labor on her own!  She had a c-section anyway, but still - both babies were healthy and didn't need any interventions or NICU time since they were allowed to bake until they were ready.  I guess maybe if you have some other issues that would warrant needing to go early then it's u.  Anyway, just curious about the rationale. I'm fascinated by twin pregnancies, we've contemplated trying for twins with both FETs now, but the risks always scare me away so we ended up doing one embryo both times.

@SkiChic626 maybe 38 would be possible, I think it's somewhere in that time frame. I know for sure no longer than 38 for sure for me. It is fascinating how much I've learned and how different the pregnancies can be from a singleton. I've had a really healthy and somewhat easy pregnancy thus far, I just have no idea how they will continue to fit in there that long!! Thankfully I'm a bit taller and was in shape prior to getting pregnant so I think that's been helping. I will most likely have a c section too unless they are both head down. I'm most afraid that one will come out and the other will flip and I'll be stuck recovering from both. That happens more than people think!

Rant/Raves/Symptoms :  My rant is about insurance, on the NBR vent post. I thought with hubby starting his new job this past Monday, we'd have no lapse in coverage (we just moved to a new state), but he can't get a hold of the benefits people to sign up for insurance! I am so pissed. And our contractor finally sent someone over here to wrap things up on our renovation, but the painters that were supposed to show today are MIA so I am re-pissed at them. 

Questions? Is anyone else extra rage-y? I have no patience for incompetent people this pregnancy

Next doctors appointment? Originally, I was supposed to have an appt with my new doc 5/23, but due to the insurance issue, it was pushed to 6/1. Now I'm not even sure we'll have insurance then! I really need to meet this doc and get set up with the hospital here. Today is not a good day.

@cait5413 Sorry about your insurance and reno frustrations!  I'm having insurance troubles today as well, which also led me to cry at work.  Something I've managed to avoid so far this pregnancy and was hoping to continue doing so!  I hope your situation is straightened out quickly!

@cait5413 I am so sorry you are having issues with the insurance. Being pregnant and this close to the end is not a good time to have to deal with all of that. I can relate to the extra ragey feelings also. I believe every co-worker I have feels like I am the biggest "b" right now, but I also have no patience for stupidity. Sometimes I feel like certain people do stupid things on purpose.

cait5413 Can you just pay OOP until the insurance kicks in and then get reimbursed retroactively?  That's typically how most insurance works - kinda like when baby is born, they technically don't have insurance for a little bit until you get them added so everything is retro.

Thanks, all! I think we are getting it resolved.  They finally sent us some paperwork tonight and if that doesn't work fast enough, it looks like the doc is in - network with our old out of state insurance (which I haven't canceled yet just in case) so I am not freaking out as much.

GTKY: What did you want to be when you were small? Pediatrician. I gave up after taking organic chemistry in college. Should have stuck it out...
