It looks like the person who was doing this check in deleted their account?

I for one definitely was motivated by having a check in so I would love to see it continue. There were several of us participating - do we want to just make this a thread anyone can start on Mondays?

    Who was it that left?
I vote we absolutely have anyone start it on Mondays. I can get us started this time...
@ceclarlinetlo Can you change the title so it's the check-in, and not a question?

    1.  What is your health/nutrition goal this week?
    2.  What is your fitness goal this week?
    3.  Any challenges this week?
    4.  How did you do with your goals last week?
    5.  GTKY:  Do you have a favorite workout? Why do you love it?

  • 1.  What is your health/nutrition goal this week?  Eat more veggies.
    2.  What is your fitness goal this week?  2 strength classes and 3 days of yoga plus something fun on the weekend.
    3.  Any challenges this week?  I actually feel the best so far this week! My fatigue is dropping slightly. Boobs still hurt but I have more energy than before.
    4.  How did you do with your goals last week? Pretty good! Had some cheating with crackers and cheese but what can ya do? I found unpasteurized brie at the store so I just had to.
    5.  GTKY:  Do you have a favorite workout? Why do you love it? Right now? Yoga for sure. Keeps me motivated, stretched, and energized.

    1. Eat atleast 1 vegetable and fruit per day

    2. Get atleast 70,000 steps for the week.

    3. I had a little bit of bleeding yesterday so I want to take it easy. I'll still walk just at a slower pace.

    4. I failed on the 1 vegetable per day - it was a weird week so I got them where I could but it was probably only 3 days. Nailed the fruit (atleast 2 per day) and the steps (90,955)

    5. Lol I have never enjoyed being physically active. Thank God for fitbits! I don't know why I have to have a hunk of plastic on my wrist to get me moving but hey it works! One time I got 50,000 steps in one day so I could beat some one who challenged me to a "work week hustle" specifically when they thought I couldn't walk for some reason.

  • @ceclarlinetlo I still see her profile when I click on the profile you linked.

    1.  What is your health/nutrition goal this week?
I started what I'm calling a semi-whole30, so mostly sticking to that is my goal. I'm making all my meals from the recipes but I'm not being too hard on myself about eating the occasional cheat meal on the weekend with rice or a sugary snack in it (I've been craving sushi and taco bell on and off ever since 3 1/2 weeks).

    2.  What is your fitness goal this week?
I'm going to eat mostly whole30 and walk downstairs at work more often (6 floors).

    3.  Any challenges this week?
Other than wanting sushi right this minute? No, not really. I'm feeling really bloated and tired though.

    4.  How did you do with your goals last week?
Okay. I eased myself into cooking mostly whole30 over the weekend so that it was a gradual change.

    5.  GTKY:  Do you have a favorite workout? Why do you love it?
I hate working out. I'm a really sedentary person. Unless you count standing in place to do the dishes for an hour. I like that because I can listen to music.

    1.  What is your health/nutrition goal this week?  Eat more. I've been tracking with mfp, and I'm not getting what I likely should. I'm not incredibly low, but I think I need to work on it.
    2.  What is your fitness goal this week?  Workout. Do at least two weightlifting sessions, and run once or insanity.
    3.  Any challenges this week?  It's my long week so less time, also our weekly tennis may or may not happen due to people being unavailable.
    4.  How did you do with your goals last week?  Pretty good... not as much weighs as I hoped, but I'll work on it. Didn't do as much as I hoped.
    5.  GTKY:  Do you have a favorite workout? Why do you love it? There's a medicine ball workout that is awesome! Found it in Men's health, it's great for a full body workout if you don't have a full hour. I also actually enjoy Insanity, after I finish. Not always during. But I love how accomplished and worked I feel afterwards.
  • That's really weird - when I clicked it in the "read me first" thread where all the thread volunteers are listed it says profile not found but this link works fine.  must be an issue with that specific link! @trmama2016 do you still want to participate?

    1.  What is your health/nutrition goal this week? I am a pretty healthy eater in general, but tend to want to eat junk when I'm not feeling good. So just trying to stay healthy this week!
    2.  What is your fitness goal this week? I want to continue my schedule at the gym, and to add in some evening prenatal yoga.
    3.  Any challenges this week? Just trying to get used to taking it a little easier. I'm a lot more tired before a workout now (I work out in the afternoon after work), so I've been going a little bit later and getting a quick power nap in before.
    4.  How did you do with your goals last week? Last week, my goal was to just start taking things a little slower and getting used to a more steady pace. I was doing competition training for a few years (cut down while TTC), so I'm used to a lot more intense workouts.
    5.  GTKY:  Do you have a favorite workout? Why do you love it? I've been doing CrossFit 4-5x a week for almost three years. I love it. I love the challenge of trying new things, and the feeling of constant, proven improvement.

    1.  What is your health/nutrition goal this week?   Fruits and veggies everyday. MS is making this hard.

    2.  What is your fitness goal this week?   I'm on pelvic rest :'( so just walks still for me.

    3.  Any challenges this week? I'm on pelvic rest :'( so just walks still for me.  I was looking forward to getting back in the gym. Also, nausea is keeping me from wanting to eat anything but bread and crackers.

    4.  How did you do with your goals last week?  Pretty good. Hit my walk quota 5/7 days. Did iffy with fruits and veggies 4/7 days.

    5.  GTKY:  Do you have a favorite workout? Why do you love it? I love leg days with weights. I have huge, muscular legs and always feel like a beast after squatting 200lb+

@cjs260 Sorry, I'm sure you've explained elsewhere. Why are you on pelvic rest?

I've had spotting after sex for the entire pregnancy and during my pap smear, the OB said, "Ah, you have a friable cervix and I have caused you to bleed. You'll have some spotting, just know it was me." She gave me the green light to continue on normal life. The spotting has mainly been light pink or brown and only after some sort of provocation to my cervix, and there has been no pain or cramping. Then, I had a large bright red bleed yesterday, so I ran to the OB for an ultrasound. Everything looked perfect (measured ahead at 7w1d and HR of 133 bpm) and the OB couldn't find anything on the u/s that looked like the source was from a pregnancy issue. She said with the spotting issue, it was most likely that my cervix and vaginal wall were just extremely sensitive right now. So, kinda as a control, I have to take it easy on the downstairs until my next appointment which will include an ultrasound. No sex/orgasms, no baths/swimming, no internal checks, no exercise past a brisk walk. If no bleeding occurs from now until then, we can write it off as a friable cervix. If not, I'll go back in earlier.

@Lecool @PaukMeKiande  Thanks ladies! It was reassuring to know that it doesn't look like anything is wrong with the baby, but it is frustrating to have it happen at all. I'm definitely keeping my FX and my feet up for a day or two. So far, I haven't had an unprovoked bleeding or spotting, so I'm really hoping that a friable cervix is all there is to it.
