Re: WTO Tuesday

  • Month/Cycle: 6

    CD: 10

    WAYDTGKU: sex

R/R/CS: based upon previous months, and all signs, O should be today, I'm taking bets of how far past O my OPK's that should've been here last week will be.

GTKY: What is your favorite clothing store?
just jeans, but I don't think you guys have it over there.

    BFP - 25 August 2016  |  Due Date - 11 May 2017
  • Month/Cycle: 2/2

CD: 1 (and way more upset about it than I should be considering that was my first cycle)

    WAYDTGKU: Probably just the sex

R/R/CS: If I ovulated, I would have only been about 6DPO (based on OPK result, cervical mucus) today when AF arrived.  Guess my body is just adjusting to being off of the pill.

GTKY: What is your favorite clothing store?
I am honestly not sure if I have one...

  • @HopingForOneAgain I'm CD 1 today too. I'd like to say it gets easier the more months TTC you are, but it doesn't. So hopefully we don't spend too much time here.

@LittleChick2  i guess no one has used Viagra! I thought more people would have insight...
I did a bit of googling on if maybe no one here uses it because it can affect fertility and I found some info saying it can have negative effects on sperm and some saying it has no effect. So if you want to use it, I would suggest doing some research on it first or at least double-checking with your doctor. Another reason people here don't use it might be because performance anxiety =/= erectile dysfunction and it's probably better to deal with the psychological issue rather than jumping to medication. That said, I'm not going to judge anyone here who decides to use Viagra for this purpose.

    CD: 4

WAYDTGKU: AF nearly gone! Temping, will be monitoring CM and doing OPKs.

R/R/CS: had to buy my FF prescription after free trial was over. Was kind of stressful deciding about 90 days vs 1 year and how long this whole process may take. Decided on a year- better safe than sorry ;) . Also thinking about supplements- does anyone have a comprehensive article that goes over things like vitamins and teas?

GTKY: What is your favorite clothing store? I love The Loft!

His doctor gave him a sample knowing we had some issues and were TTC.  I feel like he is going to depend on this and have anxiety when he doesn't have it.  Me telling him what to do is probably just going to cause more stress so I'm trying to let him handle it.  I like to be in control so this is difficult

@swimsister Welcome! I am returning for #2 but a new returnee!

    @britters314 Happy Anniversary!

@kristinh88 and @Daisy621 I am so guilty of looking up due dates every month. Such a personal torture!

    Month/Cycle: 3/3

    CD:19

WAYDTGKU: OPKS and timed sex during the "guessed" fertile period. I am a super light sleeper so temping was never successful for me.

R/R/CS: I FEEL like my period is about to start....which is weird since I haven't even I'd yet! So annoying....

    GTKY: I also love Maurice's @sarah0985 , @vintageandrea90 , @mrsdaddario !!!

@vintageandrea90 I think it's considered business casual mostly? Please don't quote me on that as I actually have no clue as to what "genres" of clothing are called or what makes one different from another. A lot of people here mentioned using them for work but I shop there for everything. Their jeans fit me better than anywhere else and they have a lot of sales all the time which makes them even more affordable.

  • I have an OPK question... How long roughly should they stay positive?
mine turned up today and I've never used them before. Today should be O and there is a shadow of a line, I know they should be completely positive 24-48hrs before O and that some women never turn one positive, but I would've thought there would have been a slightly darker line...

  • @PartiallyDomesticated It can vary from person to person. I lurked on the TTC facebook page for a little while where people were constantly sharing their pee sticks and from what I saw, some would show up just once and start to go negative again, and some would be positive for a full day or more. I personally only used OPKs for one cycle but I had two days of a positive line.

  • @pshaortao thanks for that, I might just keep testing for a few days and see which way it goes, it's only going to either disappear completely or get darker!

@wineo929 and @RunBooRunI am addicted to our TJMaxx / HomeGoods! Such a dangerous combination for me.
@mrsdee15 good luck at the RE!!!
@RedBreast35, I am with you on the not sleeping well before ovulation! I get so hot and spend the night tossing and turning. I wonder how much my temp is varying since I keep waking up like 30-60 minutes earlier than usual...
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*

  • @PartiallyDomesticated It can really depend. I know that some women have +OPKs multiple days in a row, but personally, I only turn an OPK for a very brief window, usually in the first half of the day before I O. By the morning of O day, the second line is barely visible. So I'd say what your experiencing is not unusual, but you'll probably have to wait another cycle or two to find out what's normal for you (except I hope you never figure it out, because you'll already be KTFU!).
