  • Hey ladies ! I am excited to finally be in my second trimester ! I'm 14 weeks with a baby boy . We did the panorama screen and my little guy came back low risk for chromosomal issues . I feel like I can finally relax a little now that I made it to second tri . I've been so nervous but it gets easier each week .

Qotw : too hard to pick one fave . I love parks and Rec, house of cards , parenthood , greys anatomy and the bachelor/ bachelorette . I'm stoked for the season premiere tonight !!

    Week 15 is happening.
No appointments or follow up this week.

I did however had my first workout since February! Whoop whoop!
Still sick once a day, and I'm almost certain it because of my furbaby :( she smells, cat food smells, cat litter (clean and dirty) smells...it makes me gag :(
So am looking for a place to put her for a little bit.
Which is sad, cause she's so cute!

QOTW: Elementery I like most (and stuff I don't want to admit like 'say yes to the dress' and other TLC programs)

  • Going to be 19 weeks Wednesday and all is well!! I have been experiencing lower back pain for the past week, which makes me super nervous since I previously have had surgery for a herniated disc when I was in college. Hoping it resolves itself! My next appt with my MD Tuesday after Memorial Day, and can't wait to see our little guy again!
Qotw: I'm basically the worst type of person and thrive off of anything on bravo or E.....kardashians included!!!

Hello all ! I am glad that everyone is doing well. I am 15 weeks today ! Nothing major is happening for me. My next appointment is next Tuesday, I am looking forward to hearing the HB in a week. We have not bought a home doppler but actually it is becoming hard for me to stay calm for 3-4 weeks between appointments. At least my belly is growing now, it kind of gives me assurance that baby is growing :)
I have started prenatal yoga last weekend. I should say that it was not what I expected but I still enjoyed it.

QOTW: Currently, my favorite is probably Silicon Valley and Game of Thrones. But I normally prefer detective and/or criminal shows.
  • Hi All!!  26 weeks today with a boy and a girl.  All is well.  I had a very uneventful OB appointment today which seems so weird after all the drama a couple weeks ago, but I'll take it.  Both babies were sleeping when I went in for my ultrasound but the ultrasound tech got them all riled up.  :)  I lost a couple pounds, which I thought was weird but my OB was fine with.  I'm measuring 38 weeks.  YIKES.  Starting to wonder what I'm going to wear as my maternity shirts are all getting kind of short!!  Any ideas/thoughts??

QOTW: Definitely Game of Thrones.  Also like Grimm (just watched the season finale), The Middle, and Modern Family.
    *** Child & current pregnancy mentioned ***
    Me - 41 (PCOS), Hubby - 43 (healthy)
7/2013 - Sweet baby girl born (Clomid + TI)
    3/2014 - TTC #2, return to RE 7/2014
12/2015: IVF #1 transferred two great looking embryos - BFP!
First ultrasound: TWO beautiful little heartbeats!!
Harmony: negative; level 2: babies look great and are boy/girl! :)
  • tvh1982tvh1982 member
Those smells @mskeenan, its ridiculous how our noses work right now. Yay for feeling better too!

Wow 38weeks @emsmama15! Could you wear (buy or make) those belly bands? Wear more dresses?

  • Thank you all for the kind words last week. I'm still feeling down but had a nice distraction this weekend - my aunt threw a surprise shower when we went to visit.

So so this is my last week in the 2nd tri! Friday I am 28 weeks and I have the GD test this week. I started having uncomfortable Braxton hicks last week as well as sciatica pain so I guess the feeling great bc it's the 2nd tri period is over. We will be finishing painting the nursery next week and have our main baby shower so hopefully everything will be ready for baby soon.

See You all on the 3rd tri board!
  • Hi all!  Sorry for the break, but I did go to NYC for my babymoon/summer vacation.  We had so much fun!  I'm a little over 21 weeks now and things have been going well. I am now just able to see the baby moving in my stomach when I look down at it sometimes.  How odd but I love it at the same time.  My DH is kind of freaked out by it.  Our AS was good last week and we go again for another ultrasound when I'm 24 weeks.  Bojangles is still measuring 3 days ahead. I'm pretty klutzy right now and have burned my forehead twice with my straightener and just now burnt my arm on the oven. :(  I'm going to go invest in some bubble wrap.

QOTW: What is everyone's favorite TV show?  I can't pick a favorite, but I'd say Golden Girls, Outlander, Game of Thrones, Black Sails, and the Goldbergs right now.

Congrats to all the newer 2nd tri ladies who have joined us and congrats to @katie121209 on moving on to the 3rd tri board next week!
  • @tvh1982, I hope it gets better for you soon. I can say that I still do not enjoy passing my cat's litter box, but it doesn't gross me out as much as it used to.

I'm 24 weeks and 6 days today--time has slowed to a crawl, but it's still passing! Next appt is June 3rd--glucose test. :(

My favorite show right now is Call the Midwife, but I also watch L&O: SVU every week and I'm glad Botched is back on, even though I always have to look away during the surgeries. @mskeenan, who's your Bachelor favorite? So far Ali is my favorite.

  • Hi ladies, I'm joining the second trimester group. I'm 14 weeks and 5 days with one bean. Due date is November 19. We are not going to find out the gender until delivery day. Great to see some familiar names on here!

As far as shows, where do I begin.... I like Scandal, GOT, Blacklist, NCIS, SVU, Chicago PD, Walking Dead and a lot of cooking shows. I don't have just one favorite show. And I am actually behind on all my shows. I have at least 3-4 episodes on DVR.
  • Hi everyone. I´m 19 weeks and 2 days with a decent little bump. I´ve been feeling ok but my back/butt pain is out of control. I have started going to the physical therapist for massage and 1on1 pilates/stretching in addition to the group classes of pregnancy yoga and pilates I am already taking. I really want to get to the pool at my gym as the OBGYN said it would help but I am sooooo lazy about shaving my legs and I don´t want to scare people  :D

We have our AS next Thursday and I cannot wait to see our little guy again!
  • @morningstar80 yessss I have back and hip pain as well....I thought it was too early since I'm 19 weeks (gained like 6 or 7 pounds so far) but I guess not. And it makes me super nervous because I had a herniated disc in college and had back surgery for it already....ughhh!!! I'm going for a massage tomorrow though, figured an excuse to treat myself!!

Thank you @chrissym126. It's tough, but it helps that I know what's causing it.
Mans from being sick 24/7 to only once a day is such an improvement :)

Today I tried this doppler I borrowed from a friend and I heard my baby's heartbeat for the very first time! Best ever!!

  • Hey ladies . I had quite the scare early this morning . I woke up very early bleeding bright red blood very heavily and cramping . I called my nurse on call and she told me to go to the ER . Just finished a 45 min anatomy scan/ ultrasound and baby is somehow doing fine . My mind of course went to the worst place possible but they are reassuring me everything is ok . I have two SCHs which is what is causing the bleeding . It's so hard to stay calm . I was just feeling good and confident in this pregnancy since I just made it to second tri but this was quite the scare . Ah I hope it goes away !!

I'm sorry to hear about your scare @mskeenan. That's no fun way to start your day. Glad to hear your baby is doing fine.
Hope you manage to relax a little bit knowing (s)he is still growing and getting ready to meet you in a few months!

    Thank you @tvh1982 !

I wish I had been able to enjoy my early anatomy scan ( and that it hadn't been emergent ) more than I did but looking back my husband got some great pics now that I can enjoy since I'm calm . The one above is one of my faves . So cool to see

I thought SCH was more common during first tri . Does anyone know ? Or has anyone experienced SCH this late . This will be my second time . My first was at 5-6 weeks

I'm due 10/31/16 but of course they'll come two weeks early.  Haven't felt them kick yet.  I do believe I've had Braxton Hicks from dehydration though so more water it is.

As for shows I don't really watch TV even though I stay I'm the bed lol.  Mostly I sleep and read.  I do love Scandal and miss Spartacus.

  • I'm new to this thread and due date of November 8. I have PCOS and have been TTC for over 2 years. After an increase in my metformin and then provera to induce period and then 100mg of clomid, I actually got a BFP! Can't believe it and still can't believe it!

As far as favorite TV show, I have many. Chicago fire, Chicago PD, Blue Bloods, DWTS, Vampire Diaries (I tend to watch too much TV..lol)
