Hi, I'm new here I've been lurking for about a month and have really enjoyed this forum. I'm just about 37 weeks and have been in hyper nesting mode this weekend, like on my hands and knees scrubbing the floors, bathrooms, baseboards, etc. Basically the whole house. Have any of you noticed a correlation between this and being close to going into labor?
Yeah. I wish there was a correlation. But my nesting instinct has been bobbing and weaving throughout this third trimester. I get a spurt to go clean and I start in one room and get it all done. Then move to another in the next spurt.
I've had surges of nesting since mid 2nd tri and still am not even remotely close to labor. No correlation, just enjoy the crazy cleaning energy while you have it.
I think I have been nesting on and off since I found out I was pregnant. My husband too. He keeps going through everything, organizing and donating stuff. It's cute....and helpful!
Re: How long after nesting did you go into labor?
However, I checked my crystal ball of science and it is exactly 0-5 weeks to your delivery!
(Yes, it's super frustrating not to know, we're right there with you.)
Im 36w now and just started to nest, so we'll see if its true this time!
