I don't think we had one last week, so I'll start this week's.  I'm just using what they used for Wednesday.

How many weeks today? 26!

How big is baby (fruit size or other)?  Size of Kale according to the bump!

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? Allergies have been taking over and I think are proceeding to turn into a cold.  It's annoying the crap out of me.  Otherwise, pregnancy symptoms -- my hips are starting to bother me when I sleep and I still have insomnia a couple nights a week for a couple hours at a time, along with the standard heartburn, etc.

What is coming up next? No appointments next week, but have two the following week, one with my specialist and the other with my OB to drink the glucose drink!

GTKY: Who will you tell you're in labor (if anyone)/who will be in the room with you besides your SO (if anyone)?  For STMs+, do you have a plan in place for who will watch your older kid(s) when you go into labor? I think we will probably tell our parents when we go into labor, however we have said to both of them that we do not want anyone up there until we are ready.  It will be just SO and I in the delivery room.

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? Still can't kick this sinus crap.  I've been back to the ENT, and I have another sinus infection so he couldn't give me the steroid shot.  Going back again in 3 weeks....hopefully we have some improvement by then.  Ready to not be stuffy all the time!

What is coming up next?  Just had a check-up on Friday and I have another one on June 3rd, then we're on to every 2 weeks for those appts - how did that happen???

GTKY: Who will you tell you're in labor (if anyone)/who will be in the room with you besides your SO (if anyone)?  For STMs+, do you have a plan in place for who will watch your older kid(s) when you go into labor?   I'm having a repeat c-section, so our families will know when it's scheduled.  I'll kindly ask them to please not come until at least several hours after this time (they were there last time because it wasn't planned and I was "in labor" all weekend, so they were anxious) - I want time to not feel loopy and have at least a few nursing sessions before anyone bombards me.  DH will be in the OR with me, but I want DD to be the first to meet her brother aside from other family - so more than likely my mom and dad will have her, so they'll be the lucky ones who get to come first

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? I am feeling great. Now that the weather is getting nicer, I have been able to get out and walk during lunch.  For the last several nights, I have not been able to stay up later than 9

What is coming up next? I have my glucose test in a few weeks.

I will tell my BFF, parents and siblings.  They all came right away when our DD was born and I loved it. For our DD, we have great neighbors we could call in the middle of the night but hopefully my parents will be able to get the house right away to watch her.

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? My sides, hips and lower back make me feel uncomfortable.

What is coming up next? I have doc appt on Wednesday just check up to see baby girl's progress. Monday i take my parents to airport for there one month vacation wish i was going but too risky to tag along

She might pass out and end up being in hospital bed next to me. I am pretty nervous as the weeks become less each time.

emmeline714 Have you changed your mattress in a while?  I had side/hip and lower back problems most of my pregnancy with DD.  We got a new mattress and it completely went away!

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? heartburn is killer. hip pain when I'm trying to sleep. @SkiChic626 I second the mattress, we need a new one but are waiting until we move June 20th to get it. I cant wait!

What is coming up next? glucose test in a week. Also trying to find a new OB who will take me after 30 weeks since I am relocating cities in June and getting new insurance starting July 1st

I don't really want to tell anyone until after the baby is born since its the first grandchild on both sides and family can get a little..excited.. however, I think my mom would be offended if I didn't tell her right away. I don't want anyone else there except my husband for the first couple hours after birth.

@Jcr727 I'm relocating in a few weeks and had no problem finding a doctor to take me, my first choice took me right away. They said as long as I was receiving good prenatal care they didn't care when I switched to them. Hopefully you can find one that has the same policy!

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? Passed my glucose test today. Also got my Rhogam and tdap shots, so I am done with getting stabbed for awhile! 

What is coming up next? Growth scan in 2 weeks, then switching to a new OB. I'm really bummed to be leaving mine, I like her a lot. She's very laid back.

The only person I'm planning on having there is H. We will likely tell my mom because she's a 12-hour car ride away and wants to leave right away (yeah, okay, we'll see!). I'm not comfortable having anyone else in the room and I think knowing that people are waiting on me would make me even more anxious. I want at least a few hours privacy post-delivery. 

FTM, but for our dogs we're hoping a friend or a neighbor will be able to let our dogs out a few times and make sure they have food and water. We still have to plan that.

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? I've been on my feet a lot the last few days, and they do not like it! Definitely getting pooped sooner. 

What is coming up next? We just moved, so I have my first appointment with my new doc June 1. It was supposed to be Monday, but I need the insurance from DH's new job to kick in, since we moved states. I just had my last appt with my old doc last Monday, though, and everything was ok, so i'm not too worried. I just want to make sure I know what we need to do with the new hospital and getting signed up for classes!

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? Have been feeling really great throughout this whole pregnancy (compared to my last). Just starting to really feel pregnant though. Running out of breath quicker, hard to bend over, etc

What is coming up next? Ultrasound next week (I get alot of them since I am high risk, but always nice to see baby!)

I have to have a c-section again. DH will be with me, they typically don't allow anyone else. Last time they did allow my mom to come in when DH left with our DD for her to get checked. At a different hospital and Dr this time so didn't ask if they would allow it. If so, my mom said my dad can go in this time.

For STMs+, do you have a plan in place for who will watch your older kid(s) when you go into labor? Since we have a planned c-section, my parents are flying in. They will be in charge of DD while we are in hospital and staying with us for 2 weeks to help post baby.

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms?  I've reached the point where I really miss wine.  It happened much earlier with DS but first tri nausea and exhaustion made me forget about it.

What is coming up next?  Growth scan today (low Papp-A result at 12 wk test and want to be sure baby is growing appropriately)  My mom is in town and coming with and is nervous she will be able to tell the sex and then have to keep it a secret from me.  I assured her it would be unlikely she can tell.

Questions?  I should probably start a thread for this now that we are getting closer but is anyone else hoping to VBAC?

DS will go with our best friends that live down the street.  If they are on their summer vacation, my brother and gf are on call.  Unless I end up having an induction or a c-section and then we would have my parent's here with him. 

If I get to labor, I'd like my DH and mom in the room.  My in-laws, I have no idea.  I'm letting DH worry about when to tell them.

HEEEEEEEEEEEEELL no.  lol  I recovered from my c-section a lot easier than I've seen a lot of people recover from vaginal births IRL, so I figure if it ain't broke.....  Plus, I already have the scar, so if I can keep my lady bits in tact with no ripping or cutting and not pee myself like I hear so many mamas say happens after multiple babies, then that's another score for the repeat c-section!

Ha, @SkiChic626 I also recovered easier.  It's probably appropriate for FFFC, but I really want to experience labor...

I get that.  I experienced my having my water broken , labor contractions, multiple cervix checks and an epidural.  Badically everything except actually pushing the baby out.  That was good enough me haha
