Re: WTO Thursday
I always recommend chewy.com to pet owners to get dog food delivered. My dogs eat some healthy dog food that I would have to travel 30 minutes to get so I found this website and they do free delivery when you set a delivery schedule. This way I don't have to schlep a 30 lb around, it just arrived on my doorstep. Every year we get handwritten Christmas cards. When my friends dog passed away, she called to cancel the service and they wrote her a personal handwritten sympathy card that was so thoughtful. I've emailed asking about other dog food recommendations and they responsed super fast with detailed descriptions of all the options that would work. Super awesome online company. I seriously recommend them to all pet owners.

Also, and maybe somewhat related- I want cake.
YOGA. Always yoga. I recommend it to everyone, always. I've been doing it for 15 years or so and it has helped me in so many incredible ways both physically and mentally. I've had some pretty horrible injuries in life (broken bones, fractured vertebra in my spine...) and yoga changed my body in the right ways. I've done the 200 hour training and got half way through the 300 hour before I moved, so I got into the philosophy and spiritual side of it. Changed my life! Yoga and clean eating. I can be really annoying to be around sometimes! I'm just passionate.
@RedBreast35 I have a whole bag of quinoa in my cabinet at home. I know it's super healthy, and that's why I got it. I've been on a low carb diet for a while now because of the PCOS, and I really want to make it but I don't think I can eat it because 1) It has a lot of calories and 2) It has a lot of carbs. On the basis of my diet that is. But I realllllyyy want to make it lol. I guess I'll have to wait until a cheat meal!

WAYDTGKU: Waiting. Feeling like my follicles are all:
R/R/CS: I want to thank everyone for your input yesterday on my vet/DH dilemma. I did end up telling him, and he took it really well. I actually think he seemed relieved to be honest. Relieved because he didn't have to be the one to make the call. Also, because I'm BSC, the vet appointment is on Saturday morning. Friday I go in for an u/s to see where my follicles are. I have a gut feeling that I won't have growth, only because every other scan I've had so far I haven't had any. But now I'm worried that if I DO have growth, I'll have to trigger on Friday night and have the IUI scheduled for Saturday morning. Our fertility clinic is 1.5 hours away from home. Their only open until 12pm on weekends. So now I'm worrying that the IUI will end up being scheduled around the same time as the vet appointment. Again, I'm feeling as if it won't ultimately be an issue because I'm not banking on any growth (though I'm praying that there has been, obviously), but I can't help but worry.
GTKY: What is something that you frequently recommend to other people? (It could be a product/website/restaurant/book, etc)Oh boy. I don't really make recommendations all that much! I guess it depends on what the topic is!

@leekat14 Sorry about the rough night. I'm sure that wasn't easy to hear.
@RedBreast35 Pity party all you want. That's tough to see. I've also never tried quinoa. I'm very intrigued by it and definitely think i'd like it, but am just too lazy to find recipes. Also DH is pretty picky so i'm sure he'd wonder what he was eating lol
@clover28 CONGRATS!!!
@mrsdaddario I'm so glad the talk went well with DH. It's still a crappy situation, but at least he's taking it ok. And FX that everything goes smoothly with all the scheduling!

R/R/CS: I think I'm going to start BD a little earlier this cycle. I think if I ovulated at all, it was pretty early. I also was able to start temping this morning! I know it gives me zero information yet, but that was exciting! I usually get up at 5 am to workout during the week anyway, so i'm hoping that I don't have a problem sticking with it. FX.
GTKY: What is something that you frequently recommend to other people? (It could be a product/website/restaurant/book, etc)
Weight Watchers. I didn't actually join and go to meetings, but my last semester in college my roommate did and I kind of just learned from her. It really teaches you how to eat the right portions and the right kinds of foods, so it helps with a whole lifestyle change and isn't just a weight loss diet. I don't track points anymore, but I definitely know what to look for in foods and how important portion control is.

This is a good question! Does Etsy count? I think that site gets wayyyy to much of my paycheck.
Also, if you aren't, try and have sex on days that aren't in the FW. Show him that he isn't just a machine that needs to produce for you. Doing that for my H helped a lot too. Good luck!

Learning to sew. It's so depressing to go shopping and not find clothes that fit correctly because I have weird proportions, but when I sew my own clothes it's so fun because I get to customize everything and it fits perfectly at the end . I've started giving out small sewing kits at bridal showers to get people started.

@Steelerfan78 Hopefully the referral won't hold you up today! Fx for a really productive appointment, and if you're willing, let us know how you make out! Also, you always have the best one point gifs! Love it. Also, also, I second your Milkweed suggestion! I work at a garden center and just got a call from a kindergarten teacher yesterday looking for it for her caterpillars! Adorable.
@EALasagna45 Welcome back! PCOS over here too! Though not insulin resistant. Looking forward to following your journey!

@AndiPandi127 I told DH that if I lived in ancient Greece I'd end up as one of the virgins in the Apollo temple. I need the sun that much. Hope you can enjoy the beautiful day!
@leekat14 Ugh, that's awful. I'm so sorry about the crappy news on CD 1, and that you're back in WTO, too. Hugs.
@mokay19 Mmmm I love sushi. I have to limit myself to only going once/week so I don't get burned out!
@wineo929 Do you think decaf green tea would have the same effect? It's supposed to increase CM right? I just can't have caffeine.
@LadyMillil I'm glad I'm not the only one still spotting on CD9. Have you ever talked about late spotting with your doc? Mine didn't really seem to be listening when I asked her...
@RedBreast35 Sorry for morning punch in the gut. Hugs. I could also do with some cake.
@clover28 Congrats on the job!!!!
@Kenya715 I'm sorry you have to take a break from working out! I've never been consistent about exercising, but after Christmas I started getting these awful days-long headaches after working out and I was basically benched from exercise for a few months and it was AWFUL. It's one thing to be lazy and just not go because you don't feel like it, but it's unbelievably difficult when you CAN'T. And taking a break from exercise can definitely make you feel anxious, so I feel you. FX for O soon!!!!
@mrsdaddario Really hoping for follicle growth for you!!! I'm so sorry about your pup. That's such a difficult dilemma, I hope that it works out well. Maybe they could get you in earlier at the vet if you're willing to take off and you tell them it's urgent? Saturday seems like a while to wait if she's already having trouble eating, but I'm not a dog-owner. Basically, I'm sending hugs and hoping it works out.
@SnobunnieMel I'm so sorry that this weekend will be hard. I hope you can find a way to avoid the triggers, if possible, or otherwise treat yourself really well. Sending hugs and good thoughts.
@KristoB So sorry the count went down. And I'm sorry you're in a bit of a holding pattern waiting on appointments. Now that I have to wait another month+ for the hsg I am also on the get-healthier train (and the save-up-money for ART train... ) Good luck with both!
@jatwal128 Good luck getting the hang of temping! It's weird but I can't imagine going back to not doing it now - you just get so much information from it!!!
@sammajane19 I hope your RE appointment goes well!
@Dilynne Okay, This whole thing could have gone in a TMI box but whatevs. It's why I joined this site I'm sorry you're dealing with this. It can get so frustrating and this got really bad for us around month 3-4 that I was practically crying every other night when we tried. I was telling him on the days it was going to count most, and then we tried to have sex like we always did (taking our time, DH trying to last for me, making sure I finished, etc) and DH started losing it about halfway through. I knew that many people go the don't-tell-DH-when-it's-time route, but I knew that my H would be counting the days on his own so we decided to do wham-bam-thank-you-ma'am during the fw. It lasts about 30 seconds and so he doesn't have time for performance anxiety. So maybe our sex life is a little different but right now our priority is trying to get pregnant. And we still do the languorous sessions the rest of the cycle. But fw sex has become very umm, professional.
Also, even if I get a blazing positive opk, I still don't say, "we need to do it now!". I just attack and he gets the idea. And I let him know right away to just finish when he's ready.
I hope you guys find a way that works best for you!!!
@Steelerfan78 I hope the RE appointment goes well today (and that your doctor's office gets its act together asap)!
@CoonMom Have a great vacation! FX for good SA results!!
@EALasagna45 Sorry about the diagnosis. Hugs. I'll echo others in saying it sounds like you have a healthy coping attitude and hopefully feel good about a plan moving forward.
@MrsDramaK I would love to do more crockpot freezer meals, even if the weekend prep is kinda intimidating. Feel free to share your favorites here!
@PennStateCait I'm with you on Harry Potter. I really think everyone should experience reading those books - there's nothing like it!
@britters314 That's a really cool skill! My mom made clothes for me growing up and it was so fun to pick out my own fabrics for pajamas and such. I think she would still make me pajama pants if I showed up with few yards of flannel
