I just learned that Dr. Thomas Hale is a Ph.D, R.Ph, (Texas Tech University) is the leading researcher in medications secreted in breast milk. It sounds as though he is one of the the only ones who has actually studied the levels of the medications found in breast milk and then gives a safety rating of L1 - L5 (L1 being the most benign and L5 being the worst.) His reference books seem to be updated every 2 years.
