Anyone took BCP for two months and conceived afterward?

I posted this on Trying to Get Pregnant Board but no one replied.  :( Trying to see if I will get replies here.
Wondering if anyone conceived after taking bcp for two months to regulate period and also reset ovaries to balance out hormones. I did provera for two cycles but obgyn thinks that bcp has both estrogen and progesterone so it can help me balance my hormones so it will be easier for me to conceive after. I was wondering if anyone had any similar experience.

    Hey @porche123 I would maybe post this to Success After IF. Most of us are actively TTC like you! Hope they can help you out on the other board.

    This is a really specific question which is why you probably did not get any responses. I have never been pregnant but my doc did give me a month of birth control to try and jump start my period, it did not work for me but does work for some women.
    TTC since May 2015 with domestic partner of 13 years. Me 33 OH 33.  No ovulation or natural menstruation. Normal SA.
    Diagnosed PCOS February 2016
    First cycle 50mg Clomid 5/3/16, O'd CD 19 BFN
    Second cycle 50mg Clomid 6/1/16 O'd CD 18 BFN
    Third cycle Clomid 6/29/16 O'd CD 16 BFP @11dpo!
    EDD April 3 and praying things work out!

    Oh yeah, definitely a more specific question that's hard to answer. Pretty new to these boards and took me a few tries to post it on the right board. But thank you for your response!
