Obviously, we are still pregnant and have some time left, but how would you rate your pregnancy? Better/worse than expected?

How many weeks/fruit? 39 weeks/Pumpkin

Symptoms/raves/rants? Symptoms: Some pelvic pressure, exhaustion Raves: Feeling him move, as always!!

Appointment update? I have my weekly today. We will just do measurements and heartbeat, as per usual.

Questions for the group? None

Obviously, we are still pregnant and have some time left, but how would you rate your pregnancy? Better/worse than expected?  I'd rate my pregnancy as better than I expected. Since we had so much trouble getting pregnant, I thought I'd have a hard pregnancy but it has been just the opposite. I am very grateful and very happy I've had such an amazing experience. I can honestly say I love being pregnant.

How many weeks/fruit? 39 (tomorrow)/ pumpkin

Symptoms/raves/rants?  So much cramping, can't tie my shoes, tired of people asking me when baby is coming.  Raves? My husband is being super sweet these days.  The other day I wanted to take a bath so badly but we have a crappy, tiny hot water heater that can't even fill the tub halfway so he boiled like 6 pots of water to make me a nice steamy tub!

Appointment update? Wednesday for the usual.

Questions for the group?  Nada.

Wayyyy better than expected.  Like @AdorkablePixie we were reproductively challenged and had to use IVF to achieve pregnancy.  I think deep down I felt that however crappy my pregnancy ended up being that I had to just be grateful for the chance at having a baby.  I got myself all psyched up to have every symptom in the book and be totally miserable but in the end I think I got off pretty easy...

How many weeks/fruit? 41/even bigger watermelon than 40? Also, a full-size infant

Symptoms/raves/rants? HIp sciatica pain. Peeing all the time. But my biggest rant is all this extra time is a mindf***. I'm sitting here questioning my competency for taking care of an infant and wondering how bad I will screw up. I really need to redirect my thinking. 

Appointment update? First u/s since the 20W a/s scan today. Apparently they will measure his size and fluid and then be able to make a decision about whether to induce or continue to wait.

Obviously, we are still pregnant and have some time left, but how would you rate your pregnancy? Better/worse than expected? I've had a really easy pregnancy, luckily, so I will say a lot better than I expected. That being said, I didn't expect the fatigue, both in the first tri and at the end of the third. I wish I had spent less time feeling guilty about sleeping so much in the first tri and instead just embraced it as part of the experience.

How many weeks/fruit? 40 weeks / size of a baby. 

Symptoms/raves/rants? Add me to the cramping club. Last night was rough. Other than that I've had sporadic BH's and feeling tired all the time. 

Appointment update? Just got back from the doctor. I made very little progress. 1.5cm dilated & still 50% effaced. But she did do a membrane sweep so that was good news. I had an ultrasound and she's measuring 7lbs 5oz! Everything looks great so we scheduled an induction for Sunday! 

Obviously, we are still pregnant and have some time left, but how would you rate your pregnancy? Better/worse than expected? I feel like overall this pregnancy has been great. I thought I'd feel so much more tired, but I really haven't. I also feel blessed to have carried both of my babies to term.

Wk 39 tomorrow 

rant/rave/sx: less mobility due to this huge bump, some hip & back pain, not sleeping thru the night etc. feeling baby move, realizing how big and strong he's gotten since feeling his first little flutters!!! Looking forward to meeting him!!

better or worse than expected? The first half was way harder than I expected (debilitating all day morning sickness that lasted well into my 2nd Tri), but the end has been easier than that was so I've been pleasantly surprised.

Symptoms/raves/rants?  numbness/tingling in my fingers (dr. said it's because LO is putting so much pressure on the nerves in my back) 

Appointment update? had an appointment today, still only 1.5 cm dilated, so we scheduled an induction scheduled for a week from tomorrow

Questions for the group? For those of you who have already given birth, how are you coping with the lack of sleep?  I don't function well on little sleep, so I'm anxious about it.

Obviously, we are still pregnant and have some time left, but how would you rate your pregnancy? Better/worse than expected?  It has been better than I expected, but I've still hated every moment of it.  At this point, I'm just really excited to meet my son and no longer be pregnant!
