@JDMRS@rainbowturtles Hoo boy, I forgot to react to that 6-month wait that someone was prescribed! It would be extremely hard for me to have to wait that long. However, perhaps the OB had reasoning for this. If it was explained to me why we needed to be benched that long, I'd probably get a second opinion but more apt to follow it if more than one OB recommended it and I understood the ramifications if I didn't. In other words, the wait is specific to me and not just a general guideline.
Hi everyone, I've been lurkin for a while and post somewhat regularly on the miscarriage board. I'm 29, been with my husband for 10 years but married only for 1.4 years, during which I've been pregnant 3 times and loss all of them. First loss was a first trimester one, and the last two have been second trimester losses, one at 21.6 weeks and the other at 17 weeks. I'm really sorry for everyones losses.
2. Status (WTO, TWW, Benched, etc.):
I'm benched until further notice, I saw a specialist last week and I'm currently waiting on results from all the tests I had done. Hopefully will get some answers.
3. Rants/raves:
This has been a good week, the best since I miscarried, I've cried less, I started working out again and eating healthier. I have 30 extra pounds I've gained in the last year between being pregnant and depressed. Hopefully I can shed them before trying again.
4. GTKY: What was your favorite vacation?:
Without a doubt out one week honeymoon cruising through the Caribbean. Went to Bahamas, St Marteen and St Thomas. Wish I could go back!
I'm 29, husband is 30 Together since 2006 Married 01.17.15
1. I've been lurking here for a while, and was active for a bit over on the miscarriage board after my loss at 7 weeks. H and I have been TTC since August 2014 and began seeing our RE in January 2016. We had a surprise BFP at the end of that same month that ended just a few weeks later in early March. This is our first cycle TTC since our miscarriage.
2. I am 11 dpo in my TWW... Trying to make it to Saturday (14 dpo and expected AF) before testing!
3. My progesterone came back low from my day 21 bloods... I'm worrying because it was low during the entirety of my previous pregnancy before my loss. I'm taking my progesterone supplements and hoping for the best!
4. H and I took a Mediterranean cruise for our honeymoon. We visited Barcelona Spain, multiple cities in Italy and Greece, and Turkey. It. Was. A. Mazing. We also cruised to Alaska two summers ago. It was also amazing. If you haven't cruised before, I can't recommend it more! :-)
@fiorip@Kirchetta So sorry for both of your losses. Both of you have had amazing amazing cruises from the sounds of it! I've never been on one, although both the Caribbean and the Mediterranean are among the top 3 I'd want to do first! (The first being Australia/New Zealand, but that'll happen when I win the lottery. Or when I retire and say, "Screw it." )
@SoonToBeMommaHowe, @fiorip, and @Kirchetta so sorry for your losses. I hope being s part of this group makes the grieving process even slightly easier for you.
I just realized I've been posting this week but never actually responded to the "official" questions.
1. Introduce yourself (if you're new): Not new but for those new people who don't know: DH and I got our BFP after 6 cycles of trying. We found out at 7wks that it was a suspected blighted ovum and I had a d&c at 10wks. I just finished my 2nd cycle TTCAL and am now in my 3rd.
2. Status (WTO, TWW, Benched, etc.): WTO but not tracking anything this cycle. I really just don't feel like it. We are going to try to HIO EOD and just hope for the best. I'm on CD8.
3. Rants/raves: DH has to go on a road trip for work and it always seems to happen during my TWW. We were able to BD this morning at 5am before work since he won't be home until late Saturday night/early Sunday morning.
4. GTKY: What was your favorite vacation? I have been to many Caribbean countries and they are all great. My favorite vacation was my honeymoon in the Rivera Maya. It was a dream of mine to see the Mayan pyramids and we did! It is just beautiful there and the resort was wonderful. It is a dream of mine to travel to Europe someday. I would love to go to England, Scotland, and Ireland, just to name a few. I wish I had the money to travel because id never be home!
So excited. Just heard after weeks and weeks of betas, I am finally under 5 from the CP and can get my thrombophilia panel checked. After 2 draws in a row with zero progress I was beginning to worry something was wrong. Finally headed in the right direction
@SnobunnieMel thanks for letting me know! I'm thinking it might be time for me to have some testing done to see why it is so hard for me to get KU...so I've been trying to do a little research.
1. Introduce yourself (if you're new): I'm 37 and trying to conceive my 4th. I had no idea that I even was sure about having another until I got a surprise BFP at the end of March. 1 month ago I had a D&C at 8 weeks. Definitely made me realize how much I would love to have another!
2. Status (WTO, TWW, Benched, etc.): I am guessing I am in the TWW? It has been 1 month since my D&C and I think I ovulated last week according to temps and + OPK. Hoping for the best!
3. Rants/raves: I have been ranting at everything. Super crabby mood this week. Hopefully not PMS!
4. GTKY: What was your favorite vacation?: Probably my honeymoon to Anguilla. I also love bringing my kids to Disney!
I'm out. AF just arrived right on schedule. It would explain why I was being a total grouch ass all this week. DH just gave me a huge hug and said everything will be okay, and I believe him.
Thank you @MooFish2364. Sorry for your loss as well and hoping the third cycle will be your lucky one!
@JDMRS sorry about your BFN but glad your hubby is so supportive and positive. God knows where'd I'd be without mine...that man can certainly tolerate some cray cray.

@SoonToBeMommaHowe and @chloe97 I am so glad you both have DHs who tolerate the cray cray because my goodness, this brings out the craziness. I am so glad I picked a good man, and a good man picked me because I couldn't survive this without him- he coddles me when I need it but he isn't afraid to remind me to take a breath when I get too worked up.
