Oh I know some of you yay!! Everyone I knew diappeared from ttgp! Just tested bfp yesterday, confirmed 10x poas lol, so not sure on specifics yet How far along are you? EDD? thinking around 4 weeks, end of January according to FF. 20th or 28th based on estimated O days
How are you feeling? Feeling pretty normal, the boobs are terrible tho. No nausea, but all I want to do is eat and sleep. Work is irritating me
R/R/Other: Already made my first consult appt with my midwife for June 2nd. Fx they take our insurance. The clearblue estimator says 2-4 weeks (so maybe 4-5 weeks from lmp) , but won't know till the appt.
Questions: So many, but still a little overwhelmed so I can't organize my brain. I've been hitting the evil that is google, have my mayo clinic book, and what to expect is on the way.
GTKY - What's your favorite junk food item? All I want is burritos right now. But cheese is my favorite, does that count? Be aware that most cheese for me can also include tons of ketchup... mmm I will be getting a patty melt for lunch now!

Guys I'm a moron. I had a CB weeks estimator laying around. I peed on it this afternoon. I know I shouldn't have. It didn't tell me what I wanted. I'm 5+5 and it should say 3+ (I had betas so I know at this point I should at least be at 6000 based on doubling rates) but it said 2-3. I know how inaccurate these can be, but now I'm a worried mess. Part of the reason I peed on it is because I've barely had any symptoms, and my boobs hurting which was one of the bigger ones has been much less intense the last two days. I'm really regretting that decision now. Ugh.
Sorry to be so negative but I'm an anxious person, and I just made it worse and had to come vent.
@cabu14 I love you for putting together an excel file of snarky gifs. Those drive-bys have been CRAZY lately on TTGP and I do miss the snark, just like you @sLass42 ! Sometimes I go over there just to see the amazing responses to the drive-bys from the ladies I love !!
@AliciaGoose I am sorry that you're freaking out--I don't know what a CB weeks estimator is or what any of that means (bad bumpie here lol)...but I doubt you have anything to worry about! If you are really freaking, you could definitely pick up the phone and call your OB. I call my doctor about anything and everything because I am a worrier, and I don't care if it annoys her and her office or not-that's what they're there for! I have personally elected to stop peeing on anything and everything to not freak myself out, but I totally understand that others want to and that's ok too. I hope you get answers soon and FX that all is ok! If it makes you feel any better, I just talked to a friend last night who is due in November. I was telling her that I have had ZERO symptoms yet (except maybe TMI-constipation) and she said "I didn't have any until 7 weeks!" I've read online that it is common to not feel any symptoms in early pregnancy. I said this to my mom and she also reassured me that she felt zero symptoms until about 7 or 8 weeks. I also like to remind myself to keep in mind that many women don't find out they're pregnant as early as we do, and are shocked when they do find out because of their lack of symptoms! They just aren't worried about it like us because they had no idea they were KU I'm not sure if any of that helps or not. I am thinking of you!

@kellybean1988 I stopped peeing on things too and then did it today and I definitely should not have. I should have thrown away everything I didn't use. That being said it is reassuring to know other people don't have crazy symptoms either. I might send a message to my doctor and tell her I don't feel a lot of symptoms and that I'm worrying a bit. She might just order another beta (I'm not sure I want one to be honest). I'm trying to just kind of 'let it go' because I know everything is out of my hands, but some days are easier than others!
@cabu14@kellybean1988 omg an excel file?? I have a few saved that I'm obsessed with like the infamous
@aliciagoose I feel your pain. Got my bfp yesterday on a clearblue and it says 2-4 weeks? then the instructions say the Dr. would put that at 4-5 weeks? So confused I've resigned myself to stop till first appt. I'm only allowed to pee on ic to make sure they stay dark!

I don't have the link to it off hand but CB has a PDF that shows the margin of error on their weeks estimator and it's HUGE. Like, at the HCG threshold for 3 weeks, 60-70% of women still get 2-3 weeks...
When meeting the threshold for 3+ weeks, 69 out of 90 women still got 2-3 weeks for their result. And even when meeting 20%+ of the threshold, there was still a fairly large margin of error.
Have you scheduled another beta draw (or how soon is your first U/S?)?
@AliciaGoose How scary! I'd definetely give your OB a call and maybe do a beta? Just for piece of mind? But I have seen on other boards (queen of lurking!) that other women have had this problem too, so I think @canavara could be right.

@canavara Thank you for the link! I read about how off it was in the estimation too but in the moment I was just freaking out!
@lecool My next beta is actually for Tuesday and then my ultrasound is Thursday so at this point I'm just going to wait it out. I almost messaged my actual family doctor to ask for a beta tonight because she gets he results to me really quickly but I decided to just wait. I feel a bit better today now that I'm a little more removed from the situation. I actually got a bit of morning sickness for the first time today so that made me feel a little better. And my breast tenderness came back a bit. And I'm also feeling a bit tired today. I think my symptoms in general are just kind of come and go, so I'm trying to accept that instead of thinking the worst! DH keeps reassuring me that I have 0 reason to actually think anything bad is happening, and he is right!
As always thank you ladies so much for the reassurance. You're all the best
