Newbie Introduction

Hi everyone!  DH and I have been TTC for about 18 months now and haven't had any luck so far.   After about a year of trying on our own we were referred to an RE and have been working with them for about 6 months.  I was diagnosed with PCOS about 5 years ago and currently take Metformin to help manage the symptoms.   So far we have gone through four cycles with the RE and we are about to move on to IVF in June/July.   

We haven't shared our TTC journey with many people so we can minimize people watching us like a hawk but it has been challenging to do this all with minimal support and even the ones that do know don't rally get it.  I was super active on The Knot while planning my wedding and really valued the support system offered up in the boards and I'm hopeful to find something similar as I work through our TTC journey.   I'm very excited to become a part of the group and look forward to participating!

DX: PCOS/Unexplained Infertility/MTHFR Mutation
TTC since December 2014
Fresh Transfer: Gonal, Menopur, Cetrotide. ~ Chemical Pregnancy :(  
FET #1: 1st Beta- 3,792~ 2nd Beta- 4,227~ BFP ~ Miscarriage at 8 weeks :( 
FET #2: 1st Beta 207~2nd Beta 235~ BFP~ Miscarriage at 6 weeks :(
FET #3: 1st Beta 18~ 2nd Beta 44~BFP~ Miscarriage 5 weeks :(
FET #4: 1st Beta 50~ 2nd Beta 97.7~ Miscarriage 6 weeks 5 days :(

    Welcome to the IF group. Many women here have similar stories and can provide encouragement and support. Considering posting on the June/July IVF thread. I hope your IVF is successful.

    Myomectomy June 2015- 18 fibroids removed
    IVF #1, May 2016 = 32 eggs retrieved, 12 fertilized, 7 frozen, 3 PGS normal
    FET#2, July 2016 = one embryo transferred

    BFP! Beta = 617
    Due date = 4/9/17
    Delivery date = 3/20/17

    Two cancelled IUIs in Aug and Sept '15 due to low motility/count
    IVF round 1: January 2016
    ER: February 17, 2016; 9 retrieved, 7 mature, 7 fertilized
    Day 5 Blastocysts: 5 BB, 1 AB, all normal from PGS
    FET date: May 11, '16; transferred 1 AB embryo
    First beta: May 23, '16: 998!!  Second: May 25, '16: 1648
    EDD: January 27, 2017

    Welcome! I have pcos as well and we also decided to keep our struggles relatively quiet. This board has been amazing and the ladies (and men) are so lovely here! I hope you have success with your treatments and find the encouragement and support that you're looking for.
