Re: Friday ticker change
How many weeks are you/size comparison?
33 weeks; celery?!?
Rants/Raves/Symptoms:
Symptom: My ass hurts all the time. My tailbone feels bruised bc of the way I have to sit to accommodate the little nugget. Also, is general nofucksgiven a symptom?
Doing anything baby-related this week?
Isn't everything baby-related at this point? Haha
GTKY #1: How's the nesting going?
Nursery has been 94% set up for a few weeks now. Just need DH to put up some shelves
GTKY #2: Any weekend plans?
Celebrating my one year anniversary with hubby tonight. Attending a bachelorette party tomorrow night (kill me please). And visiting with my friends kid Sunday with DS.
How many weeks are you/size comparison?
32 weeks, squash
Rants/Raves/Symptoms:
Rants: My boss wants me to start up a huge project at work and I told him it didn't make sense to start something that I won't be here to finish. He then asked where I was going....umm, on maternity leave? I also casually mentioned about being hesitant to start the project since the baby could come at any time (if she really wanted to). He then proceeds to look at me puzzled and asks "But I thought you weren't due until July?!" Clueless.
Symptoms: Pretty much getting heartburn everyday now. I just carry Tums in my purse at this point. Also getting uncomfortable at night to sleep as constantly laying on my side is causing hip pain. A positive symptom is feeling her move around all the time!!
Doing anything baby-related this week?
Not really. May start organizing all the clothes we've received so far by their size.
GTKY #1: How's the nesting going?
Not too much nesting so far. Our nursery is still currently a guest room which we are leaving together for the time being since all our family lives out of town and it'll be nice to have somewhere for them to sleep. Our baby girl will be sleeping in our room initially anyways so we'll eventually turn the guest room into a nursery.

Finally joining in with the ticker thread! I'm so glad someone started doing these for Friday ladies, but it's been so long without one I've gotten out of the habit.
How many weeks are you/size comparison?
33 Weeks. The update said celery lol.
Rants/Raves/Symptoms:
Rant: I feel like my pregnancy body is constantly betraying me. After I eat a big lunch I now ALWAYS have to poop at work. Ugh soooooo embarrassing especially because of the super loud gas that comes with it
Rave: We are so close to ready! Birthing classes are still in progress, but our nursery is complete and we have finished purchasing everything we need to bring baby home! It's starting to get so real up in here!
Doing anything baby-related this week?
I've got a couple more cloth diapers to prep in the laundry this weekend and reading Ina May's Guide to Childbirth which I'm loving.
GTKY #1: How's the nesting going?
I did hella nesting during second tri, but I've completely slowed down. I need to finish up any last sewing projects before baby gets here, but now that we don't really need anything else I'm lacking motivation. Especially since my big butt is much more comfy on the couch than hunched over in front of that sewing machine...
GTKY #2: Any weekend plans?
DH and I are planning to play in the yard all weekend since it'll be the first nice warm days here! I have a pallet project that needs backing and soil so I can transfer the lettuce, tomato, and watermelon seedlings I started inside. We got a free grill from a moving neighbor so excited to grab some charcoal and light that thing up. If it's super hot I'm planning to lounge in a bikini and get sun/ wash cars too! FX!
How many weeks are you/size comparison? 31 weeks; Asparagus, Romaine lettuce, a foam finger
Rants/Raves/Symptoms: My digestive system is on hiatus, my feet/ankles swell no matter what, sleep is something that happens occasionally throughout the night.
Doing anything baby-related this week? I have a Doctor's Appointment Thursday and my first family baby shower (hosted by my mom) is this Saturday! So excited to see my family and relatives!
GTKY #1: How's the nesting going? It's not really going, we have not moved into our new house yet, and I am pre-planning how I am going to start decorating the baby's room and organize her things. I have lists and diagrams of how things are going to be arranged in the nursery, which is making DH a little worried for my mental health if we do not move soon! We are currently living out of boxes and I clean and re-clean things. Long story short, I cannot wait to really nest for LO soon!
GTKY #2: Any weekend plans? It was police week in DC, so I went to support my husband and his co-workers and go to the vigil for all the fallen officers, it's so great to see a group of people with such a tough job be there for one another. Also, my best friends from college are coming to visit with their 4 month old, he is so cute!
