anyone still preg or is it just me? I'm 38 weeks tomorrow. They're estimating each baby at about 7#!!
If if you're not pregnant anymore, how old are your kiddos now? Are you home?
What do you love most so far?
what don't you like? (With my first I hated breastfeeding, he was a biter. But I'm stubborn so we went the full year)
Re: Twin check in
Hello @MrsKubley! Sorry, I checked yesterday I thought but must have missed it.
anyone still preg or is it just me? I think you're the last one babe! Keepin' those babies healthy - you'll meet them soon! When is your C-section scheduled??
If if you're not pregnant anymore, how old are your kiddos now? Are you home? August and Wesley will be 2 weeks old on Sunday. We came home from the hospital about 36 hours after they were born. Just to be silly, my daughter Julia is 5 1/2 and my son Hank turns 9 in June. NINE! What a big kid. August looks just like his baby pictures.
What do you love most so far? Milk comas - that face just kills me. The few times I've taken them out of the house for stroller walks or to the Dr's they have gotten a lot of looks and questions and oooh's and ahhh's. That's fun (after the hours of nursing and constant diaper changes). My older kids seem to still like them - want to hold them a lot (but not for long) and haven't seemed to act out (yet).
what don't you like? Night sweats. I suppose it's hormones. It's so gross to wake up drenched in sweat and not to have any time to change (or very many clothing options in the first place w/a changing body) because your babies are hungry. I'm starting to have some major nipple pain during the latch. I mean, I've paid attention to getting a good latch and have put on lanolin every time but still, they're getting worn out.
My my other son will be 2 in July, is your older guy just Hank or is it short for Henry? Mine is Henry!
I'm dreading the nursing, Henry was a piranha. I was bleeding by night two with him (which was my birthday, not the best present - bleeding nipples).
We just went with Hank (not Henry). I do like Henry too!
Ugh, I've had bleeding nipples before - not fun. I can't believe he was a biter so early on!
While I'm on here I might as well post another picture.
my girls are almost 8 weeks old and we have been home for 4 weeks.
I honestly just love being their mama. I love the baby cuddles. I love their little facial expressions and coos. They are so sweet and it makes my heart so full to get to be their mom.
Pumping and and breastfeeding is not my favorite. My nipples are sore. My supply is a constant stressor even though so far it's been fine. It just feels like too much sometimes trying to keep up with 2 babies, a pump schedule and my normal life of chores, etc.
If if you're not pregnant anymore, how old are your kiddos now? Are you home? babies are one month old today (and they would have been 37 weeks today). We got to come home from the hospital Monday afternoon.
What do you love most so far? They are already super smart and adaptable. Taking to their at-home sleep and feeding schedule really well. I love the snuggles too!
What don't you like? My twin b seems like she's always struggling with reflux and it breaks my heart. She's not doing as well with BF either.
More though, we have no help and it sucks. We're doing everything ourselves and is way too much. How does anyone have time to eat and sleep themselves?
