Is this possible? My d&c was two weeks ago yesterday. I've had absolutely no bleeding since I left the hospital. Today, I'm cramping and bleeding an amount that resembles my normal period. I'm also bloated, had some acne this week and have been a little extra moody. I work with all women and we normally menstruate around the same time and they're all on theirs or just finishing. I know it's early. Anyone ever had a period this soon after a loss?
I'd start temping and monitoring OPKs!! Who knows. Maybe they'll draw HCG levels to see if you really are down. When did your doc say you could have sex again? (Or stick anything in there?)

My OB said we could start having sex after I stopped bleeding. And since I really had no additional bleeding, we've already been there, done that.
I did did hear back from the OBs office and they said it could definitely be period, so game on! I suck at temping (I forget), but maybe I'll give it a whirl!
Um I'm jealous. My hospital printout instructions say nothing inside for 6 weeks. But I haven't bled today either.
Oh did you try peeing on a stick and seeing if your hcg is down?
Edited in the future for any readers: I just had my 2 week followup post D&C, and she gave us the okay to have sex with a condom until I get my first period. The 6 weeks wait is only for post-delivery or other types of gynecological surgery.

Wow that was quick. How are your cramps &bleeding? My periods are usually heavy and crampy after mc, I hope this time it isnt. Glad you talked to the dr, now you dont have to worry as much
I had my D&C on 5/19. I had no bleeding just brown spotting afterward. I woke up early Friday morning in a pool of blood and clots. At the ER they did an ultrasound and said they saw a very small amount off tissue that was leftover so they prescribed me Cytotec to complete the miscarriage at home. I really hope in your case it is your period and not retained tissue.

I tested on Tuesday and still got a positive. Positive line is lighter than the control though.
This is DEFINITELY period. I may test again tomorrow. Hoping that with the period, it will drastically drop the rest of the way.
