What's new with baby (size, development)? navel orange! Baby is moving a lot and maybe I can feel it but maybe I can't. (Honestly I'm unsure)
What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby? talking about how even though my husband wants to build a crib (he's a carpenter and can definitely do this), it is unlikely that it will happen in a timely manner, since he works full time and doesn't want to be building things during his off time. I'm trying to sort this out now before it is stressful later.
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions:
Honestly I don't feel pregnant anymore, so I'm really ready to hear the heartbeat at my appointment next Wednesday. I'm not sure how else to describe it. My only symptom left is that I need to eat rather frequently.
When is your next appointment?
Wednesday. I have the 2nd part of the sequential screen during my lunch break, then a regular appointment after work.
GTKY: Who was your first celebrity crush (stolen from Monday)? Taylor Hanson. Unfortunately, seeing them now makes me realize that Taylor's coolness peaked at 14, while Isaac is way ahead of the rest now. And by that I mean he is way hotter than I think any of us thought possible bc the poor thing was in such an awkward phase when we were first introduced to them.
What's new with baby (size, development)? Ticker says peach, app says a lemon.
What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby? During our NT ultrasound, the tech was pretty convinced she was seeing a boy. I know it's not official, but I'm going with it since my gut said boy too. So I've started calling it a boy and referring to it in my mind by our boy name. Since we already have a boy, there's very little we'll need to get!
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions:
I've had some headaches and wish I could take advil! Other than that, pretty good.
When is your next appointment?
Next Friday - just a quickie to check the heart beat, answer any questions. I have the first appointment of the day, so I'm hoping to be in and out quickly!
GTKY: Who was your first celebrity crush (stolen from Monday)? Christian Bale in Newsies. I think I had pretty good taste as a fifth grader.
What's new with baby (size, development)? He's the size of a lemon and he has fingerprints now, too!
What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby? Nothing much this week other than Doctor appts.
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: Perinatologist told me yesterday that based on what he's seeing and my placenta size/placement, he's anticipating that my m/s will completely fade by the end of next week. That's good news, I guess.
When is your next appointment? Tuesday 5/17, another u/s.

What's new with baby (size, development)? Size of a lime, no more webbed hands and feet and head and body are at a 1:1 ratio!
What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby? Nothing. Again. Though we were approved for our rental home so in a few weeks, we can start prepping our space for baby
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: moodiness like crazy! I'm so tired of my husband being moody because I'm moody.
When is your next appointment? Next week, Tuesday!

What's new with baby (size, development)? A Toy Soldier! Baby's ears are migrating to the side of their head.
What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby? Starting to save more $ and clean out the guest room that will become the nursery.
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: Still have morning sickness and REALLY looking forward to it going away. I freaking hope it goes away.
When is your next appointment? Just had one yesterday to do my verifi test so not until June 6th.

Apparently the little one is as big as a peach and is peeing inside of me. Exciting.
What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby?
Saving money. Still sorting out my husbands leave. Everything else that needs to be done that I'm trying to ignore.

My symptoms are all gone other than an occasional touch on nausea if I wake up early.

Not sure yet. Need to figure out a day and time that works with my work schedule.

Simon Cowell I fell in love with him the first time I saw him on American Idol which first came on when I was 5 or 6. Ha.
What's new with baby (size, development)? A lime! I love limes!
What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby? I told my grandma on Sunday. Her eyes when she realized what was happening were priceless. I wish I had a photo. This weekend telling my aunts and uncles.
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: I am so hungry and thirsty but nothing tastes good anymore! (I have celiacs so sadly my food options are already quite limited). Also question... My cousin is due anyday now with her first. I don't want to announce before she delivers as I really want to wait for the NT scan (and chances are her kid will arrive first). I'm guessing I should give her a heads up before I announce to the rest of the family? I don't want to steal her thunder, but I also don't want to wait weeks to tell them. My aunt keeps insisting to my dad that I'm pregnant (he's been pleading the 5th) and my cousin (the pregnant one) has even said she'd love for me to get pregnant now too!

My best friend (girl) looked like one of the Hanson brothers so she and I were never really into them. And somehow I never got into boy bands, JTT, or Leo. I think I was just too shy to admit I thought anyone was cute, even someone I'd never meet.
What's new with baby (size, development)? Size of a chicken nugget. I've literally been waiting for chicken nugget week because the image on babysizer.com makes me hungry. Tonight we will have homemade chicken nuggets.
What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby? Does getting cautiously excited help? Counting the minutes until next week's NT scan.
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: Happy that most of my uncomfortable symptoms have gone away and my energy is coming back. I miss hikes and runs.

Haven't done anything this week. Just trying to get through the end of the year.
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: Headaches =( aslo, my doctor sucks. She never talks to me at the appointment. She just answers any questions I have but never offers any information without prompting. Is it just me or is that weird?
When is your next appointment? Just had one Monday and will have my next June 6th
GTKY: Who was your first celebrity crush (stolen from Monday)? Leo DiCaprio... He was so dreamy!!!! I used to kiss his poster.
What's new with baby (size, development)? The bean is the size of a Hass avocado and it's legs are finally longer than it's arms!
What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby? Not much yet, really. I feel so behind - I'm pretty sure we had S's nursery started and clothes and toys and all that jazz at this point last time. But until we know the sex I'm kind of holding off on planning anything. But we finally told my Grandpa!
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: The nausea is finally getting better, but it's been replaced by headaches and heartburn so bad it leads to nausea. I feel like the 2nd tri was awesome last time, so I'm hoping I get at least a few weeks of feeling good soon!
