We are having such a hard time naming our boy, and it is stressing me out!! So any opinions/input are much appreciated!
It is not letting me edit my post so I'm going to try this way...
I really want something that is easy to spell/pronounce and not too popular but not too out-there either. DH wants a name that is unique and either short, or can easily be shortened to a nickname. So far the names we can sort of agree on and seriously consider are:
Lane
Jameson
Harrison
Rhys
August
Corbin
Grayson
Reid
Emmett
DH likes Lane, Corbin, and Grayson.
I am not super in love with anything and change my mind constantly lol. Also like Hudson, Everett, Oliver, and Blake but DH has vetoed all of those.
Our last name starts with F and we have pretty good middle name choices to go with any of those.
You've got a great list! We're also going with Jameson but Reid was our second choice - so I think those are both excellent choices! I love Grayson too but have an a$$hole ex named Gray, which ruled that out for us. If you like Emmett and Everett, have you considered Beckett?
My son's name is Corben we get compliments all the time most people call him Corbs for short except for my in laws who call him corby and I hate it.I love Jameson and greys on too!
I love Emmett! That was one of the top picks on my list but was vetoed by hubby because he knows someone with that name that he doesn't like. I also like Corbin (we have a nephew with that name and he gets a lot of compliments) and Grayson. There seem to be a lot of people using Jameson right now imo so in about 5 years, there will be lots of them.
If you want something easy to spell and pronounce, I would nix Rhys and Jameson. I have a really unique name and it was always so annoying to have to constantly correct people.
The rest in my opinion are unique and still easy to pronounce.

Im also in the same situation as you. I'm not in love with any of the names on our list. DH doesn't like most of them. He's only suggested Colin and Owen.
I really like Reid (our 2nd choice), Lane, and Harrison. Not on your list but some names that you may like: Cole Ronan Nolan Grant Miles Dean Nigel Clark
Emmett is at the top of our list this time! I also like Wyatt.
DS1 is Theodore and we call him Theo. Other names that were on our short list last time are Collin, Cole, Nathan (we would have called him Nate), Garrett and Gavin.
I like Lane, Harrison, and Emmett. Just keep in mind Lane is also used for girls. Some people don't like unisex names for boys. We're going with Levi, it kinda goes with your names!
Thanks everyone for the input! So far Corbin is at the top of the list for us but I have to think about it for a while before I know for sure how I feel about it!
Middle name with Corbin would probably be Gray. It is my husband's middle name and we just really like the way it sounds. Is that weird to re-use dad's middle name for baby?
I like Grayson the best out of all your names, but I've literally seen like 5 Graysons born in the past couple weeks. It's becoming very popular if that's something you care about.

Why would it be weird to use a parent's middle name for baby? I know TONS of people who do that, and actually we would have used my middle name if we were having another girl.
My daughters middle name is my middle name, and my son is a Jr with his dad's middle name as well. My middle name is a family name, so I passed it on, and hopefully my daughter will too. I think middle names should hold meaning. This baby is getting a middle name after my great grandpa who was like my dad. It's my great grandpa's middle name, which was his father's name Was that confusing? Lol
