Vitamins?

When is it ok for DC to have vitamins? Is there vitamin drops? I am still BF twice a day and have weaned the (2) middle feeds> I am just worried she is not getting all the vitamins she needs now. She is refusing the afternoon bottles but is taking a little whole milk in her sippy cup....anyone know anything about vitamins and when it's ok to give them??

Re: Vitamins?

  • There is poly vi sol drops but they taste bad and those are for little ones.  I looked on the Flintstone vitamins website and it says 2-3 years old, so it may be too early unless pedi recommends otherwise.

  • When DS was younger I tried giving him the poly-vi-sol drops.  He wouldn't take them (I can't blame him, they smell horrible, I can't imagine they taste good).  We have been giving him the gummi vitamins for a while now.  I will switch the the regular Flinstone ones as soon as I think he can handle it (he is still working on molars).
