Getting siblings adjusted

I have a son who I've adopted. He is 7 and has been an only child until now. He's super excited and I think he's going to do great, but I'm worried he thinks that life will remain just the way it is after the baby arrives. I know he doesn't understand how much time and attention a baby requires. He's not use to having to share either of us, but more so his daddy. I've signed him up for a siblings class at the hospital we intend to deliver at, but does anyone have any other suggestions or advice? 

Please refrain from using the abbreviations that we see on the boards here, I have no idea what they mean lol

We are in a similar boat w my son. He'll be 7 a few weeks after his brother is born. I encourage him to say goodmorning & goodnight everyday, as well as hi after school. Every once in a while it's perfectly timed to a kick response. It seems to help. He feels like his brother understands.

My youngest son is 6. Granted, he's not an only child, but I am kind of concerned about the adjustment for him as well. He loves to read, and I'm hoping to find him some books on being a big brother.. I got one for my oldest son, who was 5 when number 2 was born, called I'm a Big Brother. I have also tried to talk to him about what kind of attention a new baby needs, and that I might need his help to do things for and with his new baby brother. I know he understands that Mom will be busy with the new baby, but I still worry how he will feel because he's really Momma's boy. I just want to keep the big kids as involved as I can, so they don't feel left out.
