Second trimester loss

Hi everyone, I would like to say first how sorry I am for all of you who've lost a baby. I've been somewhat active in this board and all the stories have helped me so much, specially being able to share mine. I've noticed most of you have experienced early losses. My first loss was a first trimester loss but the two that followed were at 21.6 and 17 weeks. 

I was wondering if anyone else has had a second trimester loss, were you able to conceive successfully after that, have you seen a specialist about it? I have an appointment next week with an RE and don't really know what to expect since all of my losses have been so different. I hope I can get some answers.

@fiorip I am sorry for your loss.  I had a first trimester loss.  I do have a friend that had a second tri loss several years ago, and I will say that both her heart and her arms are now quite full--I don't want to violate her privacy by going into more detail.  I would also suggest that you might get good responses on the Pregnant after Loss board.  I hope your appointment goes well.

I'm so sorry for your losses. I'm also seeing a RE for the first time next week. I've heard wonderful things about specialists being able to pin point what is happening and they can hopefully prevent any losses in the future. Sending love and hugs your way.
