@LinziLoo09 haha I wanted to stab my H the other day when I was complaining of feeling so sick and he responded with, "ya but at least that means the baby is healthy, right?" I KNOW THAT BUT I WANT ALL THE SYMPATHIES, jerk.
So happy to see this update! I missed it all over the weekend, but what great news!! Also, if you ever need to commiserate, I also have some bleeding due to the same issue. It's so nice to know it's normal, but scares me anyway so i'm here if you need!
So glad to hear everything is okay! What a bunch of dingbats those ER doctors were. The baby's heart is outside its body? You must have the xray vision of Superman to be able to tell at 7 weeks!

So glad to hear the good news! As if pregnancy isn't stressful enough, incompetent doctors make it so much worse. I hope the rest of your pregnancy is much easier!
Thank you for sharing an update and yay for the great news!! I'm sorry about your ER experience and please please please do send them the F-you letter. They deserve it!
So I sent what I hope was a gut-wrenching letter about my experience to all five members of the hospital executive leadership team last night and received a response early this morning. I even cited studies that ectopia cordis has never been diagnosed prior to 9 weeks gestation- so the idea that an offsite radiologist diagnosed it two weeks earlier than anyone else without even being present for the exam is crazy.
The VP I spoke with was incredibly apologetic. I've been told they're doing a full review of the incident, and I may hear from the Chief Medical Officer or head of the ER. They're also putting a hold on my bills, which may be waived pending on the outcome.
Oh my goodness, what an absolutely horrible ordeal! So sorry you had to go through all of that but happy everything worked out and you were able to see your doctor first thing! Good call on writing them a letter....they need to know how unacceptable your whole experience was especially when the doctors couldn't give you any reasonable explanation for what they were telling you! That's so beyond ridiculous...it's mind-boggling. They should definitely waive your bill, no question.
