Is your episiotomy still a bit sore?

I know my pelvic floor is sore, and my hips and back still bother me, but my episiotomy feels more sore this week (since I started using the kitchen barstools again **ahem** they hard as a rock).

Wondering if anyone is still dealing with this?

I'm not an episiotomy momma, but I tore pretty badly and that still hurts sometimes.

It takes a while for scar tissue to soften up.

I'm wondering what the barstool is being used for... 

If it is indeed a "barstool".

Get some cushions for the stools. Maybe give your dr a call to see if they think it warrants a check up. Otherwise, scar tissue can be pretty tender for awhile. My cs scar is still tingly and numb and he's almost 6 months.

I had an episiotomy and it never bothers me at all.  I would call your doc to make sure it's healing properly.

I tore really bad (like from one end to the other) and it wasn't healing at all. I had to go to the gyno every two weeks to get burned with silver nitrate. I am finally completely healed almost 5 months pp. I'm finally ready for the ahem... kitchen bar stool.  If you still are sore, go see the doc.
