Anyone know how to read one? My OB ordered one cuz I was getting so lightheaded and it came back abnormal. She referred me to see a cardiologist but its been over a week and they have not called me back!

I don't know how to read it either, but also want to wish you good luck! I started experiencing heart palpitations last year (and still get them). I had to have an EKG and a heart monitor for a week and was diagnosed with benign PVCs (most likely caused by anxiety). So I know how scary it is to find out something is abnormal with your heart! I hope yours is benign as well and you don't have anything to worry about.

You said it's been over a week and the cardiologist hasn't called you. Can you call them to see if they got the referral and are willing to schedule an appointment for you? In the past year I've learned sometimes you have to be really aggressive with doctors.

You need to see the actual rhythm strip to read an EKG. What you have posted is likely the computer generated data from the strip.  Your PRI, QRS, QT, and QTC look to be in the normal range and normal sinus rhythm is also a good thing.  The nonspecific ST abnormality could be something but often is nothing serious and it is a very common description used. Hope you hear something back soon! :-)

I'm a cardiac nurse and those numbers don't mean much to me, a strip of the ekg would tell us more than those numbers. The ST abnormality can be caused by many things but again, idk what the abnormality is without seeing the ekg itself. Also, anything like a PVC or a PAC which are benign can make the ekg machine read it as abnormal so try not to get too worked up over those words.
