Appetite Post Baby

My LO is 8 days old. I have not had an appetite since she was born.  I have to force myself to eat and I don't enjoy it at all. This is very unusual for me, I've always loved food. LO is breast feeding around the clock and I thought that would mean an increase in my appetite. I had a huge appetite at the end of my pregnancy. This is so odd to me. Anyone else having this issue?

Mine (mostly) came back around the two week mark.

Same here. I'm also having a hard time keeping up my water intake. Between Baby and the rare opportunity of a nap I rather nap than eat or drink.

Same.   I keep a glass by every sink in the house to remind myself to drink anything at all.  And food is just gross to me right now.

I didnt have an appetite for about a week and a half and then it came back full force!

I'm 5 weeks PP and have zero appetite and have to force myself to drink enough water. I'm really surprised my milk supply hasn't been affected. I was ravenous at the end of my pregnancy so this is a big adjustment.

I was just telling DH that I'm having the same problem. I ate everything in sight for 2 days post partum, but then I tapered off. I'm 8 days pp now.

That was me last time for a few weeks--never was hungry. This time I have an appetite but it didn't increase pp.

I definitely had no appetite for the first 2ish weeks! DD is 4 weeks old tomorrow and it has come back some but there will be days when I go a long time without even thinking about eating

I have no appetite either. I have to kinda force myself to eat usually, when I eventually remember. I haven't been very great at water intake either, but I think that's more just having my hands full.

I didn't have an appetite for the first 1 1/2-2 weeks, but I do now! I'm not ravenous, but definitely hungry at mealtimes and will eat a small snack or two during the day and one before bed.

Aww, man, I'm the complete opposite -- insatiably hungry all the time.  I need to go on a big grocery shopping trip and I'm scared of what all I might buy out of ravenous madness.

I'm 5 weeks PP and haven't had an appetite at all. I just eat on a schedule, basically. I've always been a heavy water drinker, but sometimes I need to remind myself to drink as well. Or else I get a headache.

I'm glad someone posted this because I'm in the same boat! I'm normally a big eater, especially at the end of my pregnancy. I'm 4 weeks out now, and it's hard for me to remember to eat! When I finally get a moment to get a meal in I eat a few bites and I'm done. I'm thinking I might get some Ensures or something so that I can keep my nutrient levels up. This is so weird- not having an appetite is VERY strange for me!

It took me two weeks for my appetite to come back. I hardly ate / drank anything and lost so much weight. My appetite is pretty normal now and my baby is 3 weeks old today.

One week PP today, and I've had the same issue since LO was born... I have to force down food and water and usually feel kind of nauseated afterwards

I feel hungry but nothing really sounds good to me, which is weird for me. Im 5 weeks PP. Sometimes I want to eat something because Im bored sitting at home, but since I've got 25 pounds to lose, I dont. All I really crave is sleep!

I'm 10 days pp and under my pre-pregnancy weight (according to FILs scale...not sure of its accurate) and breastfeeding, so I'm embracing it.
