Question About Ovary Pain

ughhhh, so I've had some ovary twinges on my left side for the last 24 hours but within the last 4/5 hours they've picked up. I'm CD35, AF due today or tomorrow...have any of you had this before you start your period??  I've only had it before ovulation and it's confusing me! Could it be a cyst? I don't want to start googling because it'll just stress me out.

I once had a suspected cyst, I can't remember the name of the type, but it caused an unusually long luteal phase. I think I was 18 or 19 DPO. I had been having twinges, but then felt unbelievable pain, like something was really wrong/fainting from pain type of pain. I went to my OB and he suspected a ruptured cyst and wanted to do some testing.

Are you in pain? Or does it feel more like ovulatory twinges? Were you using clomid this cycle? Could it be your ovaries shrinking back down after stimulation?

I had an u/s this am and no cyst luckily, but that's what I thought it was.  The pain has gone and it's back to twinges.  No clomid this cycle @BornReady, I'll start back up next cycle! It was weird timing in my cycle since I'm CD37.

I've had ovary twinges after this loss and they are sporadic and brief usually. Different than my O pain that is constant and lasts about 24 hours. Not sure what it means but it's annoying for sure!

A couple days before I started my period after my D&C I had a similar situation, where I was in terrible pain and couldn't even stand up straight. My RE did an U/S and didn't see a cyst but thought one could have ruptured or maybe I ovulated. I did some blood work and 3-4 days later I started my period. II was pretty shocked since the pain felt like O pain. It was very bizarre
