I am having such a wonderful day! I am a high school math teacher and it is teacher appreciation week and I had two students write cards to me with such nice thoughts in them! Also, my clock in my room has been dead and they finally replaced it after five months!! (It doesn't take batteries or I would have fixed it myself).  So what is making your day today!!! Brag away!!!

It sounds like DH's job is using him as a 'test bunny' to see how working from home works for the company. I am so thankful cause he's been home (working) the last couple of days and hopefully he'll be home more often in the future. I also work from home, so our setup will be perfect. He works so much harder when he's here, so it will be good for the company (win-win).

Whats making my day is knowing it is noon already, so this day is half over, and tomorrow is my last day in the office for 13 weeks!!!!!!!!!! 



Also DH just found out he has a raise starting next paycheck. We be rollin' in da monies

Just got a call saying my lab work came back normal, my platelets had dropped last week so super happy they didn't drop again! The nurse said tomorrow we'll talk delivery with the doctor, anxious to find out the induction date!

I'm just glad it's almost Friday, the weather is GORGEOUS, we set up a nacho bar in the break room for Cinco de Mayo (super authentic *sarcasm*), I get to leave work early for my doctors appointment (granted, it's for an uncomfortable cervical check) and I'll be home early enough to enjoy the afternoon with my pets and husband!

@AdorkablePixieI am not even sure what 'Cinco de Mayo' is but I've been craving margaritas the whole day - despite never even having a margarita in my life. You ladies are turning me into something else (haha).

My morning started out great with one of my pups following me around and constantly looking at me like this: 

This was especially nice since I had about 2 hours of false labor last night (darn you baby girl for getting my hopes up!) I've also had a lot of people inform me that my baby has dropped in the last 30 minutes. Woot woot. Oh and I have a week of work left then I'm off until September 6th. Also very exciting!

I got invited to the neighborhood ladies Bunco night tonight. I do not know what Bunco is, nor am I a "ladies group" kind of person, but I don't know ANYONE in my neighborhood, so I'm happy that I was invited, as apparently this is an ongoing thing. It sounds a tad stuffy, but apparently there will be "world-famous sangria" so it can't be too stuffy.  I'm trying to be positive that I'll go and meet someone cool!

Oh God I would kill for a margarita. Extra salt. Frozen or on the rocks doesn't really matter.

It's not sweltering outside and tonight we're going to see Captain America. Granted in the morning I have oral surgery but I'm looking at the bright side. Most likely last date night before munchkin comes!

My H sent me flowers and chocolate covered strawberries for Mother's Day since he is gone at work!  He had them sent to my office and if anyone thinks I'm sharing they are seriously mistaken.

I am having an emotional day after having been in the hospital the last two nights, and a total of five times in the last 2 1/2 weeks. This morning I sobbed the entire time I was getting ready for work, but I just kept getting ready and went about my life because it is what it is. I was fine at work but then the entire drive home it happened again, I cried and cried while I sat in traffic! I came home to a note from DH (who witnessed my mental breakdown this AM) taped to the door, thanking me for all the sacrifices I've made throughout pregnancy, saying he knows how tough it has been for me, that I'm his hero!, and that I will be a great mom. He's an amazing hubby but has not been great at support during this pregnancy, I can't remember the last time he did something like this! It made my hot mess of a day a million times better :-)

I needed this thread today, I loved reading everyone's positive stories! And finally at the end of the day got one of my own. I've been feeling physically and mentally terrible the past week (after what has generally been a very easy pregnancy) and been wrestling with whether to take maternity leave early or suck it up and keep on working up until I go into labor. I had a heart to heart with my boss this afternoon and she is allowing me to work from home and scale it back until the baby is here which is a HUGE relief! So today was my last day in the office until August!

Bragging on my husband. Seriously the best decision I've ever made was marrying him. The more I slow down the more he just quietly does. I've been soooo frustrated and weepy this week & he's just been a complete rock star. I love the crap out of that guy.

Our DD amazes me every day. We were at the pedi office for her two week checkup and she rolled over on her own from her tummy to her back. I missed it. I was talking with DH and looked down and there she was in her back. Doc said that it comes with bragging rights especially since she is a preemie. Also she will hold her paci and try to hold the bottle.  Now if her acid reflux would just stop...
