How far along are you? 9w4d

What number baby/pregnancy is this for you? Pregnancy #4, baby #3

How are you feeling? I'm feeling okay. The nausea has really subsided this week but I'm still dealing with a ridiculous combo of exhaustion and insomnia. I'm so freaking tired but can't sleep. Such a cruel joke. Doesn't help that my 3 year old likes to start her day at 5:30.

Any baby news (tests results/scans/upcoming appointments?) I had an appt today (first back with OB after being released from my RE) and everything looks good! Scheduled my NIPT (Harmony test) for Monday and my NT scan for the 31st (I'll be 13w2d... does that seem late for this scan to anyone else?). I'm going to be a nervous wreck until I get the results.

Rants/Raves/Questions? Is anyone feeling this irrationally nervous about chromosomal abnormalities? I have no reason aside from my age to think anything would be wrong but I can't get it out of my head.

GTKY: What is your proudest accomplishment? I took a crazy leap of faith 9 years ago after I met my husband and am really proud of myself for following my heart. He lived halfway across the country from me and after 6 months of long distance dating I quit my job, sold my house and most of my belongings and moved myself and my two dogs 1000 miles to start a life with him.

Early loss 12/2015 most likely due to low progesterone
Began medicated cycles (Femara/Ovidrel/Endometrin) with TI 1/2016

    How far along are you?
    8w, 3d

What number baby/pregnancy is this for you?
    Baby #2

    How are you feeling?
I'm actually feeling great; frequent poster in the no-symptoms thread. I'm tired but I have a 2yo so....

Any baby news (tests results/scans/upcoming appointments?)
Saw my OB last week, next appt is on 5.31 when I'll have the genetic testing blood draw. My doctor's nurse informed me that while they used to do it a little earlier, it has come to light recently that if you do it before you are 12 weeks that there is much less genetic material in the mother's blood and so it is best to be no less than 12 weeks along. I think I had it at 10 or 11 weeks with DS so I was a little disappointed to wait but a week or two really isn't that long in the big picture of finding out such important information

    Rants/Raves/Questions?
Nothing I can think of really. @MamaWino, those thoughts have been creeping up for me as well but I don't really have any reason to worry, except my age as you said, so I'm trying to dismiss them as quickly as possible

GTKY: What is your proudest accomplishment?
Up until the end of last year it would have been something career-related but I quit my job at the end of 2015 to stay home with DS for a little while while I really thought about what I want to do. I was extremely successful in my career but I was working essentially 24/7 for years and decided to put myself and my family first. I consider that a huge personal accomplishment

How far along are you? 8 weeks!

What number baby/pregnancy is this for you? I will hopefully be a FTM :)

How are you feeling? The nausea is better today. Tired but that is par for the course. I am wearing really comfortable clothes though and people have noticed I need to up my clothing game!

Any baby news (tests results/scans/upcoming appointments?) My first u/s is Monday 5/9 and first meeting with the Dr. 5/12. I need to work on my questions to ask!

Rants/Raves/Questions? Going down to the City this weekend - we are going to try to get last minute tickets to Book of Mormon. It's mother's day so hopefully not TOO crowded, but not sure lots of people would take their moms to BOM? It's also supposed to rain so that means waiting in the same day line in the rain eh. But I am excited because it is a legit date day with DH and we haven't been on one in awhile.

GTKY: What is your proudest accomplishment? Definitely finishing law school. I did it at night while working a stressful FT job, and commuting to Boston and back (45-60 mins without traffic each way). I gained so much confidence in myself and what my body can handle. Can it handle having a baby? IDK. I was in my late 20s during much of law school so even though I was a zombie I could handle it. I feel like I'm going to be even more of a zombie, even with a 15 minute commute and "only" a 40 hour/week job.

@jennbaylor12 good for you staying home. I think that is a great achievement. I always said that I could never do that, but I also said I would never have babies, so people can definitely change, right?

How far along are you?   7.5 weeks

What number baby/pregnancy is this for you?    number 3

How are you feeling?  like a zombie. a shell of a human who wanders around bumping into things simultaneously ravenous and vomiting and causing utter chaos and despair to everything around me.  okay no seriously, the morning sickness is bad, and the cravings are so much more intense this time around.  and i'm sooo tired

Any baby news (tests results/scans/upcoming appointments?)   nada. first appointment is 5/16 and it's going to be pretty boring (no u/s).

Rants/Raves/Questions?  @MamaWinoabsolutely, I worry about this all the time.  DD2 has hypotonia of unknown etiology, and a rather large chromosomal band duplication of unknown significance. I worry all the time about our next baby having the same thing, or something else, something even more challenging.

GTKY: What is your proudest accomplishment?  i'm pretty darn proud of my vbac. I don't know if that's my proudest moment, and I certainly didn't do it all naturally, but I held off the epidural for over 12 hours of near continuous contractions (back labor is a bitch) to give my body the best chance.

What number baby/pregnancy is this for you?  This is pregnancy #6 and will be baby#4

How are you feeling?  Sick, sick, sick.  Also, irritable.

Any baby news (tests results/scans/upcoming appointments?)  Nope, I still need to call my midwife and let her know I'm pregnant and schedule my first appt.

Rants/Raves/Questions?  I'm just ready to feel better.  This part of pregnancy sucks.

GTKY: What is your proudest accomplishment?  My two natural deliveries.

I'm so glad to hear I'm not the only one freaking out about chromosomal abnormalities. I know I'm obsessing, and probably for no reason, but it's so hard not to.  And here's where you're all really going to think I'm losing it... I have quite a few friends who have had perfectly healthy babies in their mid-late 30s... so you'd think that would give me reassurance, right?  It's actually doing the opposite... I feel like I'm going to be the one with a different outcome because somebody's got to break the mold, right?  I'm being ridiculous, I know.  I wish I could have a glass of wine to calm my nerves.  AHHHHHHH.

What number baby/pregnancy is this for you? Baby number 3 but technically pregnancy number 5.

How are you feeling?  Not too bad.  Morning sickness is in full effect.

Any baby news (tests results/scans/upcoming appointments?).  Had a sonogram last week and baby looked great with a good heartbeat.  I go back on May 20th for the Verifi test and prenatal visit.

Rants/Raves/Questions?  I'm hoping this pregnancy goes a lot smoother than my last.

GTKY: What is your proudest accomplishment?  Completing my masters in accounting.   I'm also proud of having my last baby naturally even though it was not planed and I was scared.

What number baby/pregnancy is this for you? Babies 1&2 (twins!), pregnancy #2

How are you feeling?  Not too bad, considering...dizziness, acne, always tired but having trouble sleeping and nausea when I wait too long between meals/snacks.

Any baby news (tests results/scans/upcoming appointments?).  I had an ultrasound at 6 weeks and went in at 8 weeks to a specialist clinic for blood work (my regular doc doesn't do twins). Next appointment is May 25th for another ultrasound. I can't wait!

Rants/Raves/Questions?  I'm not sure where to start!!  We have a ton of things to figure out!

GTKY: What is your proudest accomplishment?  I have no idea!  I worked hard for my engineering degree and love to work with young girls encouraging them to stay in the STEM fields. So maybe that?

Hi Ladies!  Thank you for including me even though I am a few months shy of "technically" being AMA!

How far along are you?  Today is 7w5d

What number baby/pregnancy is this for you?  First baby and first pregnancy.

How are you feeling? Better than I thought I would.  But I do have occasional nausea, some insomnia, and have already started the dreaded constipation...

Any baby news (tests results/scans/upcoming appointments?).  First official appointment is this Tuesday the 10th, but I have already had two ultrasounds to check viability due to a spotting scare in week 5, so we have our first picture of the little Bean!

Rants/Raves/Questions?  I'm sure I will have a LOT as the pregnancy progresses.  Right now my rants are mostly work-related.  I have started making multiple lists of questions for the MD and things we need to plan for. I'm actually on vacation next week so my goal is to start prepping the room we are using for the nursery.  Right now it is our junk room and desperately needs cleaned out!

GTKY: What is your proudest accomplishment?  Currently I would say getting through six years of pharmacy school, but ask me in a few months and I will have a different answer!

What number baby/pregnancy is this for you? Pregnancy and baby number 4

How are you feeling?  Tired.  So tired.

Any baby news?  Saw babe at 7w2d which was awesome.  We think we picked up the h/b on our home doppler last night, but it's early and we'll try again soon.  I get blood taken next Wednesday for my Harmony test and cannot wait for the results.  After that, I see my OB on May 25 and have another u/s.

R/R/Q: I've been sick for over a week with a cough/cold.  I'm a fan of chemistry when I'm sick and not being able to take anything is annoying.

GTKY: I think I'd have to say my kids :)  They are pretty awesome little people that make me proud every day.

@MamaWino I'm right there with you.  I'm a worrier by nature so I'm pretty anxious to get my results.  I totally get the whole thing about friends having healthy babies too!  Like, if it's one in five, and four of my friends have had healthy babies...that must mean I'm up :o   Going with the Hunger Games here: May the Odds be Ever in Your Favour....

We're on our way to Washington D. C. to visit my FIL/vacation.  Looking forward to being back in the city...it's been awhile.

    GTKY:
I'll mirror @jennbaylor12...I was pretty much a workaholic and was letting my work/career control my life.  I quit when DS1 was born to stay home with him, and it was one of the best decisions I've ever made.

    How far along are you?
    8 weeks + 1 day

What number baby/pregnancy is this for you?
Second baby and pregnancy. I have a girl who will be 2 later this month.

    How are you feeling?
Feeling pretty tired and a bit queasy and have a bit of regret about the sheer volume of jujubes I just wolfed down in a moment of bad decision-making.

Any baby news (tests results/scans/upcoming appointments?)
First ultrasound looked good at 7 weeks; baby measured a little big so due date was moved from Dec 17 to 15th. I'm 40yrs old now so I will be pushed to deliver on the 15th or before. Hopefully baby comes naturally, induction doesn't sound appealing. On the plus side, I'm happy to have a good 10 days to recover before Christmas.

    Rants/Raves/Questions?
Just stressing a lot more this time around because I'm over 40 now. I'm doing the Panorama test in a few weeks, and pray everything turns out okay. First pregnancy my sleepless insomniac hours were spent making pinterest boards of nurseries and adding things to shopping lists. This time I am up at 4am researching odds of genetic issues and miscarriage and stillborn death rates post-40. It's not nearly as fun.

GTKY: What is your proudest accomplishment? My sweet baby girl.

Between 7-8 weeks. My dating isn't exact and haven't had an US yet.
What number baby/pregnancy is this for you?
    Baby 3, pregnancy 4 (1 mmc)
    How are you feeling?
Good overall. Really tired and super hungry, which never happened with my other pregnancies. I am worried that I will gain 60+ lbs at this rate.
Any baby news (tests results/scans/upcoming appointments?)
    First appointment on Monday.
    Rants/Raves/Questions?
Kind of annoyed that I am AMA. I am hoping that my midwife doesn't make me see the rotating OBs in the practice!
GTKY: What is your proudest accomplishment?
Med school, I guess. I am more proud of my kids!

How are you feeling? still tired, but no other symptoms

Any baby news (tests results/scans/upcoming appointments?) first OB appt was yesterday. Going for an ultrasound today to confirm dates (I had an IUI). Excited and a bit nervous.

Rants/Raves/Questions? I'll just be relieved when this ultrasound is done and I know all is on track.

How far along are you? 8w4d today!

What number baby/pregnancy is this for you? my 1st!

How are you feeling? Not bad today, actually... but some of my symptoms appear later on. However, I have had a gross taste in my mouth ALL day no matter what I eat. I finally put in some gum and hope that takes it away for a bit. So far, so good. MS off and on, but mainly a feeling like I am hungover and starving.

Any baby news (tests results/scans/upcoming appointments?) Nothing... my first appointment isn't until June 3... so 4 more weeks from today!

Rants/Raves/Questions? Going along day by day so nothing right now. Counting down until my doctor's appointment... this month better fly.

GTKY: What is your proudest accomplishment? Just graduating from college, 13 years ago. I never had much ambition in life as a kid, and never knew what I wanted "to do". I didn't get horrible grades, but they easily could have been better. But, I graduated in 4 years with a major and 2 minors. I don't work in a field that any of them are in, but am happy that I went.

Any baby news (tests results/scans/upcoming appointments?)  Appointment coming up mid-May.  I think they'll do the NT that day, maybe.  Apparently I wasn't paying attention when they told me.

    Rants/Raves/Questions?  Nothing today!

GTKY: What is your proudest accomplishment?  Teaching myself quilting.  Silly, but it made me happy that I could develop an interest and teach myself.

    #1!
    How are you feeling?
Excited, scared, general queasiness and bloated. I have a "blump."
Any baby news (tests results/scans/upcoming appointments?)
I have a Paraguard IUD in place that I am having removed. I'll be finding out more at my ultrasound this Friday, 5/13. I'm incredibly nervous and hoping that the IUD removal will not have a negative affect on the baby. While this pregnancy wasn't planned, it is not unwelcome, and at this point I just want everything to go smoothly.
    Rants/Raves/Questions?
Anyone else go through the IUD situation?
GTKY: What is your proudest accomplishment?
I will be graduating with my BA in English Education this month and was planning to enter a teacher credential program in the fall. Going back to school to finish my degree has been one of the best decisions I made, and it's something I feel really good about.
