Getting pregnant first time IUI?

Hello we did iui on the 16th and we had 2 eggs ready to go and they were each bigger than 20 so that's great... But we tested at 11 dpo and got a bfn and I am just wondering if any of you ladies have had a negative result at 11dpo and then had a bfp later on? 

Our doctor told us to test at 16-18dpo as that would be the most accurate... 

And if you have gotten pregnant using iui did u have multiple baby's?

Hey there.  You might have better luck asking this question on the Success after IF or Pregnant after IF forums since most of us here are still trying for #1 and haven't had success yet.  A general rule of thumb though is to test on 14dpo to get an accurate result.  11dpo is often too early for a pregnancy test to detect.  You very well could get a negative on 11dpo and then a positive on 14dpo.
