Baby size?  A rutabaga!

Rants/Raves/Symptoms:  got diagnosed with GD which really upset me, trying to adjust to the news and keep in mind it is a very manageable condition.  The idea of a threat to baby sent my PGAL Brain into a tizzy.

What is next or what are you doing to prepare for baby?  Third trimester is right around the corner!   This is getting real - I need to start doing more to prepare.  We have a lot of house projects to complete. 

Questions:  Anyone else starting to feel that nesting urge?

GTKY: (taken fron June BMB) where was one of the best places you have you travelled and with who?  I did a summer study abroad in Athlone, Ireland. It was a great experience, I got to travel all over Ireland and I really liked it there. 

Going to Puerto Rico with my husband was also great.

Aches and pains, heartburn, and constant peeing. All the standard crap.

What is next or what are you doing to prepare for baby?
DH and I are going on a long weekend "babymoon." Next week so I'm pretty stoked about that I didn't think it would happen.

My favorite was our honeymoon. We went on a cruise to the Bahamas.

Baby size? grapefruit. 

Rants/Raves/Symptoms: just feeling huge. But I can finally feel baby moving (I have an anterior placenta) and DH was able to feel, too!

What is next or what are you doing to prepare for baby? Signing up for childbirth and baby care classes. Also, traveling to Seattle for my baby shower next weekend!

GTKY: (taken fron June BMB) where was one of the best places you have you travelled and with who? Spent a summer in Italy in college, and that was amazing, of course! The food and wine...

Rants/Raves/Symptoms: my feet are starting to swell just a little. Other than that just tired as usual. Insomnia blows. 

What is next or what are you doing to prepare for baby? Our nursery is done. I would love to start hanging and organizing all her clothes, but we are keeping the sex a secret so I have to wait until after our baby shower which isn't until July 16.

Rants/Raves/Symptoms: Backaches and seriously acne? You can shove off. 

What is next or what are you doing to prepare for baby? Looked at nursery furniture today but are still waiting to buy. I think we also picked out her name.

DH and I did a road trip around Eastern Europe Christmas 2014. The markets in Vienna were great. It was a memorable experience.

How many weeks? 24, hello viability week!

Baby size? Cantaloupe 

Rants/Raves/Symptoms: Feeling large, I've felt pretty good about my increasing belly size until this week. I've just started having a terrible time dealing with my new body image and had a meltdown last night. I'm not an emotional person so this is all new to me. So other than these hormones making me crazy, I've had some groin and back pain but it's all manageable.

What is next or what are you doing to prepare for baby? I've got another US at the end of the month that I'm looking forward to. I'm hoping to get the crib soon.

of his family, it was beautiful and we went in February so the weather ther was perfect.

Rants/Raves/Symptoms: Aches are awful right now but her movements are soooo strong and sometimes funny to see what she reacts to. 

What is next or what are you doing to prepare for baby? GD test tuesday. Bleh. But third trimester starts on my birthday and then we have baby showers in June which is exciting and surreal!

GTKY: (taken fron June BMB) where was one of the best places you have you travelled and with who? This one is hard. I don't really have one place that comes to mind, either. I think I just love traveling with DH more than the destination half of the time. Lol.

Rants/Raves/Symptoms: @kcolly32 I'm in the same boat as you with the body image. It's been so hard to pick outfits out each day. It's especially hard knowing I'm going to get significantly bigger, I don't know how I'm going to deal in July  I keep reminding myself that it means LO is growing big and strong, but vanity still gets the best of me some days. 

What is next or what are you doing to prepare for baby? We're looking at new houses to move into before August, so I guess that's planning for the baby a bit?

GTKY: (taken fron June BMB) where was one of the best places you have you travelled and with who? I definitely haven't travelled as much as I'd like, but I visited one of my best friends in St Kitts while she was in Vet school. It was really amazing to see the island from the perspective of someone living there rather than just a resort location.

Rants/Raves/Symptoms: heartburn has returned (it had gone away for about a month)

What is next or what are you doing to prepare for baby?  we are focusing on getting DS's "big boy" room set up so we can move him out of the nursery by the end of the month.

Brugge/Bruges.  Hands down.  As much as I love all the tropical places I've been, there was just something magical about Brugge.  DH and I stopped there for about 36 hours after a week in Paris.  We were flying out of Brussels to come home and figured we'd spend half a day in Brugge, stay over then head to Brussels in the morning for the day but we ended up staying in Brugge and only heading to Brussels around dinnertime because we had a hotel reservation and a super early flight home.  Belgium is the center of Europe and Brugge was the main shipping port for a long time.  Everything is basically as it was in the 1400s except for one building that burned down in the 70s and was rebuilt to look like it was old.  And the beer and chocolate is AMAZING!
