Woop, woop! What's happening this weekend, everyone?
Baby-making? Binge drinking (maybe not that one)?

I have no plans to binge drink (or drink at all). I am going to the dentist, though. I had my appointment at the beginning of the month postponed to now. I'm looking forward to it; the teeth that need to be fixed have been bothering me. I'll have this appointment and then one more and then just routine cleaning - which is a relief.
We'll go see my friend in the hospital and bring her the food I made as soon as she's feeling up to it.
I don't see any frost in the forecast, so we'll start experimenting with keeping the raccoons out and start transplanting the tomatoes. I'm going to drink a lot grapefruit juice because that's my crazy plan for getting KU this cycle. I don't even like grapefruit juice very much.
I'd like to start a sourdough culture. Hopefully these cramps subside and I can get back on the yoga challenge track. Oh, and play a lot of video games because I am tired, stressed and not in the mood for anything other than that.
Have a great weekend!

Busy weekend for us. My sister is coming to visit, which I'm excited about. I'm hoping that she will help me put together my mom's mother day gifts together and help me with the centerpieces for the sports banquet. This is the last weekend we'll be home until June.
DH and I are excited to do nothing this weekend. May, June, and July are very hectic with something practically every weekend (we have not one, not two, but three weddings this summer!) so we are taking one last weekend to veg out before the insanity hits.
We are excited because we don't really have any plans either. DH has to work Saturday and Subday I am going to a huge antique festival with my mom. I'm looking forward to finding some neat things for my new house. Since my fertile week is over we won't be doing much baby making...but we can still keep practicing ;-)
I'm going to spend some time relaxing and thinking happy baby implantation thoughts!
Today I took the day off, my mom is coming down and I'm taking her to dinner and a concert for an early mothers day gift....we are seeing Frankie Valli, she loves The Four Seasons and Jersey Boys. Also taking my cat to the groomer...hes been shedding like crazy! I get him a lion cut every spring/summer...he loves it! Tomorrow going to a friend's house warming party and Sunday is Game of Thrones! Not to the FW yet but now that AF is over can start practicing
Yay for Friday! A friend a few hours away is coming into town so we can surprise another good friend who is having a baby in July (we were due 5 days apart). It is her second baby so obviously no shower, but we wanted to take her to dinner and a movie and surprise her with a few little gifts. It's bittersweet since our babies would have been close in age and it's like I am watching my 'would have been' pregnancy through her, but I am truly happy for her. She was a great friend through my losses and I am happy to celebrate her.
Other than that tonight, no plans! I am excited to just be low key and hopefully binge watch more Kimmy Schmidt and play with my furbabies.
@reneeannemm you're such a sweet friend! I am sure she'll appreciate your homecoming vs. hospital food.
Not much planned this weekend - I've got an interview in a few hours via Skype but once that is done there are no plans beyond BD ideally every day because I'm in my FW.
Wait, we still have to do taxes - we keep procrastinating and they're due tomorrow - luckily that shouldn't take long. And grocery shopping. I think that is the everything though.

Binge drinking!!! I am throwing a bachelorette party in Vegas and a weekend with my girls away from thinking and obsessing over TTC is exactly what I need. Plus strippers and booze. If you follow my Instagram what is allowed for public should be epic.
Glad ad to escape this weekend. My best friend found out she is pregnant yesterday about an hour after I heard my OV wants to run repeat loss panels. I am ecstatic for her but I was feeling like a defective person right then and they got it first month off BC without any tracking. It stung.
@SnobunnieMel omg I'm so glad I cracked that joke this week. How apt! Have a blast, you deserve it!

We were in Texas last weekend and I got a cold on the way back, passed to DH (who I haven't made sick since 2012), so this weekend is doing nothing and basically recovery mode.
@Spartanrd4 I have the same problem with my cat right now, white tumbleweeds all over the house! Have to wait until next Fri to take her in...the lion cut with the Ugg boots is super cute, but I tell them to take whatever they can off. Pooka doesn't really care what she looks like

Happy Friday all! We have a busy weekend ahead of us. IUI tomorrow morning. The clinic that's open on weekends is about 1.5 hours away so we get up early and journey there. I"m actually excited about the process, I feel like we have at least a little more hope than if we were just trying on our own. Of course I've gotten several calls today from my nurse coordinator trying to setup our IVF consult for 2 weeks from now, great vote of confidence!
ON Sunday we are visiting my Aunt who just purchased an old home she is going to begin a restoration on. My DH and restored our 1850's farmhouse, so we love going into homes before they are redone and my Aunt also wants our opinions on stuff etc.
So sorry, @reneeannemm , some hurt more than others. Thinking of you this weekend.
@aberrukka I love that you know the last time you got DH sick, that sounds like my relationship. My husband has a date/memory for everything and would totally remind me of something like that. Hope everyone is on the mend!
@snobunniemel Enjoy Vegas, I will live vicariously through you this weekend!!
@catiecatp Enjoy your weekend of baby making! Hope the Skype interview went well. Have you settled on a part of the US you would like to work in?
@aera11 I keep meaning to start Kimmy Schmidt, I heard it's hilarious!
@spartanrd Your lion cat sounds adorable. I had a friend that used to do that to her Golden Retriever and it was adorable.
@fivetimesnoluck My clinic says, "relations" too. A few times I was on the phone trying to clarify something and I kept stumbling over which word to use, I may have said BD, like just the letters as if I was speaking in Bump talk.
Thanks, ladies. I cried for hours, but I'm OK now because my husband brought me cookies with Drake's face on them. I'm Canadian, so I know him from his child actor days on the seminal program Degrassi and it flabbergasts me that he's a famous rapper/singer.

@reneeannemm, I'm sorry that news hit you so hard. Sometimes it seems hard hots just come out of nowhere. Also, I loved Degrassi in my youth!

@SDSwenson, camping with a giant group sounds amazing! I love camping! We just booked a camping trip yesterday snd I'm pumped.
Not it much planned for this weekend, which is exactly what I need. It's gotten cold again this past week (boo) so I'm hoping the weather is decent enough for me to get the other 3 garden beds ready for planting. We shall see.
Sigh - so the interview was cancelled - but my university email is on the fritz so I didn't know. The position has been put on hold for now (budget stuff most likely) - I'm frustrated but not very disappointed. It was unlikely that they'd be able to pay me enough to compensate for uprooting my life as much as I would have - and we have to be able to afford living for a year or so on my salary alone, because we don't know what DH would do down there.
@bornready - we've got a few states we like - Oregon, Washington, Colorado, California, Hawaii ( ) - northern Michigan and perhaps northern NY because they'd be close enough to family in Ontario. I don't know many of the eastern states - we're more on the "hippie crunchie granola" side of the spectrum, with academics and science thrown in. What states would we likely fit in with? I'm thinking Maine... But there are so many states that I simply don't know about.
Taxes are complete (due on Monday here in Canada) - we get a nice refund this year - but next year will be painful because my tuition tax credits are all used up...

@reneeannemm I'm glad you are feeling better and LOL at drake cookies. I'm not Canadian but I loved me some degrassi as teen and I totally agree that it's so odd that he is a famous rapper - lol I just remember him rapping for a few episodes on degrassi and it cracks me up every time!
So excited guys! +OPK today right on normal schedule cd15. Seems like the CP hasn't messed up my cycle as much as I feared. Halfway through my benched cycle now and earlier than anticipated.
@catiecatp Great choices! DH works in academia, so we have lots of friends who have been in your position and are now scattered over the US. I'd check out Vermont, Maine, Western Massachusetts, and North Carolina too. Feel free to PM me if you ever have any questions!
