I'm not sure if this has been mentioned or discussed anywhere here yet, but I thought I'd throw it out since I just finished filling out the request for DD's greeting on the White House website. You can send a birth announcement (or fill it out on the website) and get a Welcome to the World greeting from the president and FLOTUS. You must do it after baby is born, and within a year of having been born (so, with the election coming, you could roll the dice and get an announcement from whomever might become the new POTUS if you are so inclined). DH and I actually have a wedding greeting as well as the greeting from when DS was born. It's pretty standard, but also cool to have in a frame or a baby book.

Additionally, you can get one from Micky and Minnie, or from the Pope (though an actual Papal Blessing is an entirely different thing).

Yes!  We did this (just the White House) when DS was born and it made a great addition to his baby book!  Excited to do it again for LO!
