Wtf is ms so much worse this time around. Ughhhh if I didn't have a toddler to take care of maybe I could deal but making her eggs this am was hard... actually making any of her food is hard

I have a feeling it's a lot of super young women giving young moms a bad name. And a couple women were talking about wishing they could do heroin or meth while they were pregnant so they would be less tired. I would think they were joking but there weren't any hahas or lols and there were quite a few "yeah me toos"

WTF to my in-laws this week. Too many family obligations and I want to bail on ALL of them. No time and energy for anything other than me, work and quiet time at home with DH.

WTF again MIL. I just can't even with her anymore. She is the one who has been pestering us about the sex of the baby.She thought the color lettering on my son's werewolf in our announcement video was pink, therefore we put a subliminal message in there that it was a girl. Yeah, that crazy bitch.

So this time.....sigh...we stop for a visit this last weekend since we were in her city visiting other family and I walk out of the kitchen in time to hear her ask DH if MY BLUE BLOUSE MEANT WE WERE HAVING A BOY.






I told my husband that he needs to pull her aside and have a chat with her about boundaries, being content with the fact that the baby is HEALTHY AND THERE instead of focusing on what is between their legs. Like she hasn't even asked me about appointments or how I'm feeling, what the OB says, she doesn't care. She cares about genitalia. Eff. Her. I'm done. I told him I refuse to go near her until she calms her tits, I don't need her cray cray around me.

Oh and also, because she's a bitch eating crackers in my mind now - I told her I stopped nursing my son a couple weeks ago and she gets this huge grin of satisfaction on her face and says, "oh GOOD! I'm so happy to hear that!"

She's old school, believes BFing is useless, peasant-y and weird. 

Yeah thanks MIL, I'm pretty excited about the onslaught of illness about to hit my son now that he no longer has my immunity. I'm so excited about leaving behind this incredible bond I busted my ass to secure for as long as I did. I am so tickled that it was suuuuch a breeze to go through. I'm not slightly emotional about the end of this era at all. I really appreciate your support. /s

WTF body? I've lost 14lbs this pregnancy (I initially gained 5 in fluid/bloat and then lost 14 so I'm 9lbs below prepregnancy weight) because I just couldn't eat much.

Yesterday and the day before my appetite was back with a vengeance and suddenly I'm up four pounds. The hell, body?!

WTF nausea? You decide to rear your ugly head at almost 11weeks? I was working yesterday and had a rough landing and takeoff out of Las Vegas (normal for Vegas) and BARELY made it through the flight back to SF. Seriously almost hurled all over people in the middle of the aisle of the airplane. It was horrible. I normally never get sick from turbulence but this nausea hasn't gone away a full day later. Called out sick from work today and am currently cuddling with Admiral Kitty and hating everything.

@HomeyDontPlayThat Some MILs are the worst!  I share your pain though mine doesn't care what the sex is.  My MIL is a child developmental expert.  Like she is a rock star in her field and published author.  Her daughter is following in her footsteps though isn't as accomplished as her mother or grandmother.  Guess how much advice I get?  Eventually we are just going to need an in-law bitching thread.

@HomeyDontPlayThat  Try not to murder her, I know I'd be plotting. My MIL is actually lovely, but my actual mother is a wack job. We announced the pregnancy to my folks and she immediately goes into a schpiel about how it's okay if I don't breastfeed because she "couldn't"... Okay thanks, a bit off on the timing for that speech. I'm waiting for the crazy to increase to epic proportions as the pregnancy goes on. 

WTF how does anyone drink 64oz of water a day? I am physically incapable of this feat . How you do this!?

WTF, crazy woman?

We extended an olive branch to my mother (conditional on her behaviour.) A little bit ago after she returned from her annual trip away for my birthday (yes, really. For about ten years she's gone away on my birthday) she and my dad called. I think I posted when we were anticipating it. She sounded like she'd swallowed a lemon and said maybe two sentences the whole call in this clipped, angry voice. She's not said a word to us since, so I'm guessing she doesn't really intend to play by the rules. Her loss.

@admiralkitty I'm sorry you're feeling sick! I didn't know that was normal for Vegas but am happy you said that. The last flight I took was out of Vegas and it was the roughest (by rough I mean a little bumpy but I've developed a fear of flying recently for some reason!) take off I've ever had and it's scarred me from flying.

Wtf why have I had indigestion for almost 24 hours?! Oh yeah, because my body does its own thing now. 
Oh and wtf why didn't we remember toilet paper when we went to target 2 days ago?? I had to go searching the house last night and found a total of a quarter roll between both guest bathrooms. I feel like this is the ultimate fail of being an adult.

@yukitan and @whitneyf1  Vegas is notorious for some of the worst take-off and landing turbulence in the country once the weather warms up. I used to live there and it never ceased to amaze me how rough it could get. It's usually worse in the middle of the day, so hopefully it calms down for you tomorrow night @yukitan !

@Admiral Kitty - I got hit with nausea for the first time this week too at like 10w/5d. You're a champ for making it through those flights!

@HomeyDontPlayThat I too am surprised that you have any contact with her. She's a psychologist's dream. All of those anecdotes were bad but the one about her BFF saying "I'm the mother of the woman he should have married"?!?!  I'm just astonished.
