Weird mark on gums *PICTURE*

My son is hysterical and I think he is teething but I just noticed a red mark on there that wasn't there yesterday. It doesn't look like a typical teething red mark.. What do u think it is?

It looks like a tiny blood blister to me.

Does that happen when teeth are coming through? Sorry first time mum I still have a lot to learn

Looks like a sign of teething. My sons gums bled when his teeth were coming through.

I can't tell if it's red or brown but could it be a beauty mark? If not, my son had big blood marks when he was getting his teeth
