Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? I have been having so much RLP. Just trying to drink lots of water and take it easy. Other than that, time is flying by!

Questions? I'm starting to get swelling in my ankles at the end of the day. Dr. Google says magnesium supplements can really help. Anyone had luck with that? I have an appointment on Friday so I'll be checking with my midwife.

GTKY: If you woke up 2 million dollars richer tomorrow, what is the first thing you would do? I would take the day off from work! Then, would proceed to pay bills and figure out how to invest that money so we could live without my income for at least 10 years.

ETA *I used to think I was Tuesday ticker change, but actually looked at a calendar and it should be Wednesday. So, I'm joining y'all!

Pay off all of our debt(which isn't a lot) and meet with a financial advisor to see how we could invest. I would move to the beach and buy a house.

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? Found out that our ultrasound tech saw a "shadow" on baby's heart, which can be a Down's indicator if other markers are present (which they weren't, so it's probably nothing). So I had some genetic testing done and am anxiously awaiting the results. I'm not too worried about it because my doctor says it's probably nothing, but would love some peace of mind.

GTKY: If you woke up 2 million dollars richer tomorrow, what is the first thing you would do?  Pay off our house and our rental property, replace both vehicles, fully fund both kids' college funds. Share some with family and put the rest in retirement savings. And then the money would probably be gone. Sadly, $2 million really isn't that much if you think about it!

Get a financial advisor for investing it! I'd like to be able to use it to set aside enough for a down payment on a house and perhaps help my mom with one as well and then put most of it towards retirement accounts. Especially since every time I get a statement on my retirement account I'm like where is the power of compounding I've been hearing about?!

Fun question! Honestly, I would probably type up my resignation letter. I still want to work, just not for this company, and I could use the investment income as salary replacement for a while.

Thanks for the well wishes, ladies. Just found out the genetic testing came back negative for Downs. I'll be having another US in a few weeks to recheck the heart and get a better view of the spine (which they couldn't get a good shot of at 20 weeks bc of his position). Feeling relieved and thankful!

GTKY? I would buy a duplex or 4plex near the beach, move into one of the units and have my tenants pay the mortgage!
